Unique, One of A Kind, Fully Functional Showpiece; ready to enhance the ambiance of your home, business, or your next big event...
First and foremost, I am fully aware of my damaged ebay rating; last item I sold was under heavy pressure of life as it was tragically happening at that time, was in need of funds, was selling another prized item to get $ fast.  Not in my fully right mind I overlooked previously written terms and conditions then which were set for "payment due up to 30 days of auction end." Well, the out of state buyer of this item took great advantage of this, not only that, it was sold on ebay for less than intended.  A previous in person viewer from a prior local ad for this item randomly revisited me 3 weeks after auction end; telling him it was sold, and persistent toward it, the in person viewer eventually offered me more than i could possibly refuse or could have even felt ok asking for this item.  I refunded the ebayer his deposit immediately, telling the car collector that deal was off after having contacted ebay making them known of the situation, of course he made a stink, and there you go, I should have almost kept the car as originally intended...  I am an upstanding ebayer, look at my buying and selling activity before and since this spiteful mark was left. PLEASE, SERIOUS BUYERS & RETRIEVERS ONLY.
DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND ON BUYING OR PICKING UP IN A TIMELY FASHION!!

CLEAR TX TITLE

Up for bid is my 1973 Westfalia Camper Van based pool table.  VW Bus was fully original, therefore, as much of original equipment possible was utilized for pool table casing to be most reminiscent of original form; color, trim, inclusive of air scoops used as rear speaker grilles, lights, original badges, front bumper, rims/center caps, down to the rear latch key fitted with timely rabbits foot: included onto an integration of vintage nostalgia and vintage nostalgia, with a touch of modern technology to timeless entertainment, forming this great work of art.

Construction consists of above mentioned VW Westfalia Bus combined with (Valley 1in 1pc slate, ball return mechanism)quality vintage pool table.  Welded steel frames supporting sheet metal, overlayed in fiberglass allows for a sturdier foundational base.  4 solid fiberglassed lids (each equipped with red LED shot markers) one per side, allows for full serviceability of every component of billiard VW.

Even Big Block Hot Rod lovers love my VW

FAQ's:

-"leveling?"pneumatic leveling system made possible by on board air compressor, ready for use when plugged in to charge 12v system; 4 individual air valves at each wheel well allow each wheel equipped with air shock to be filled according to level of given ground to acquire proper leveling in temporary situations (hours, days);  For permanent leveling, I have used scissor jacks, avoiding the complete use of air for long term leveling precision.

-"Steering wheel obstruction?" Steering wheel is detachable by means of male and female transmission components, spline attached to steering shaft, and driveshaft yoke attached to American Racing designer steering wheel, for greater mobility in or out of transport. NOTE: 25% of right steer is hindered by mod. to right wheel well in order to include ball return mechanism in VW billiard.------Color matched filler cap included for when steering wheel is not in use-------   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXUJZsGOqSo

-"does it run?" No,
But it stops crowds dead in their tracks though!!

Fully functional, Valley 7ft bar regulation pool table with 1 inch 1 piece slate (recently felted), ball return mechanism works as it did before, only, coin mechanism was not incorporated.
About 650 led lights throughout, 600 color changing led lights programmable with remote, sensor in rear in cue ball return area.  Led bulbs were used as parking lamps to lessen energy usage.  Shot markers, where there would be mother of pearl, are chrome trimmed red led lights.  Many led lights used in discotech diorama style ball return area. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEZG2AunlZc

Rear hatch where running motor once was is now the bearer of  8 lighted slots for cues, adjacent to a mounted pancake compressor for use with pneumatic leveling system.  Above ball return area is an Mp3 ready, cd, am/fm (usb port for charging/powering devices) stereo connected to Infinity speakers internally mounted to project superb sound through ball pockets; assisting these front speakers are automotive grade rear speakers mounted to the rear of what once were functional air scoops.
The panel which stereo is mounted serves also as switch board for all systems, which can all be closed locked and secured via rear hatch & key.

This is more than just a pool table, but an eloquent centerpiece that will ALWAYS be the center of attention to art lovers, & car enthusiasts alike; more than that it's a source of fun, audio and visual entertainment, to those who like to play, and to those who just like to watch.

As original owner, I have seen remotely close, but even the "pony" pool tables don't have half of the features as my VW!! none of them can say," mine is one of a kind," or,'' mine once carried people place to place through decades:"  This is a titled machine, ready to be called your own, more than just a "bill of sale," or store receipt.
I will always be proud of my VW,
You will be proud of it too!!!!  You & Your VW POOL TABLE will be the talk of the town.

Volkswagen forced to sell stake in Suzuki

Mon, Aug 31 2015

The six-year-long failed marriage between Volkswagen and Suzuki has finally come to an end. Almost. An arbitration panel in London issued its final verdict which, according to a VW press release, cleared Suzuki in terminating the agreement, so VW now needs to get rid of its 19.9-percent share. However, the tribunal's decision said VW performed all of its obligations and Suzuki didn't – the Japanese carmaker should have given VW last-call rights for a delivery of diesel engines, but failed to. The breach opens Suzuki up to damage claim, but so far VW only says it reserves the right to sue. Now that Suzuki has an outside investor to provide funds it meant to get from VW, perhaps both can get back to their reasons for being. The press release is below. Ruling in arbitration proceedings: Cooperation between Volkswagen and Suzuki deemed terminated - Arbitral tribunal confirms Volkswagen met contractual obligations and finds that Suzuki has ordinary right to terminate agreement based on reasonable notice - Volkswagen to dispose of its 19.9 percent stake in Suzuki and expects positive effect on Company's earnings and liquidity from transaction - Arbitrators also find that Suzuki breached its contractual obligations to Volkswagen under the agreement and that Volkswagen has right to claim damages Wolfsburg, 30 August 2015 - An arbitral tribunal in London has announced its ruling in the dispute between Suzuki Motor Corporation and Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft. As a result, cooperation between the two parties is deemed terminated. The arbitrators confirmed that Volkswagen met its contractual obligations under the cooperation agreement and found that Suzuki has terminated the agreement upon reasonable notice. Volkswagen will therefore now dispose of its 19.9 percent stake in Suzuki and expects a positive effect on the Company's earnings and liquidity from the transaction. The arbitral tribunal also confirmed that Suzuki breached its contractual obligations to Volkswagen under the agreement and that Volkswagen has the right to claim damages. "We welcome the clarity created by this ruling. The tribunal rejected Suzuki's claims of breach and found that Volkswagen met its contractual obligations under the cooperation agreement. Nevertheless, the arbitrators found that termination of the cooperation agreement by Suzuki on reasonable notice was valid, and that Volkswagen must dispose of the shares purchased.

Watch the VW E-Golf get made

Fri, Jun 13 2014

If you've ever been on a tour of an automotive factory, you know how mesmerizing it can be to see humans and robots work together to build our four-wheeled friends. The swift automation, the cleanliness, the trained hands deftly fitting pieces together and watchful eyes inspecting every piece of the car, it's all quite impressive, especially if the vehicle is one you, as an observer, are fond of. Even just seeing a fresh, gleaming badge being applied to immaculately painted sheet metal is enough to curl ones toes. Such is the case with this video from of the E-Golf being pieced together in the Volkswagen's Wolfsburg plant. There's no narration or music - just the sounds of production - so it's easy to follow the singular motions that go into the process without distraction, with a slight sense of actually being on the floor. This solo video is only seven minutes long, so it's not quite the epic that was the BMW i3 production series. Therefore, we miss a lot of the initial build, such as pressing the sheet metal, painting, and putting together a lot of the inner workings. What is refreshing to see is how much of the final touches of the electric Golf are done by hand using actual hand tools (and with typical German efficiency). There's even a person riding a bicycle through the factory at one point, which is common at Wolfsburg and also rather quaint. Enjoy the video below, and if you have a suggestion for a good soundtrack to go along with it, sound off in the comments. This content is hosted by a third party.
