This 1975 VW Riviera pop top camper bus is in Super good shape. It just had brand new heads and exhaust installed. While having this work done, everything else was addressed. The clutch was done not that long ago also(in the last few years). This bus has original paint, with no bondo that I could find. There are a couple small surface rust spots and a few small dings/dents. I looked for a long time and this was the only bus that had no bad rust. This bus also has brand new tires. It truly is ready to go on long trips. The interior is original and in really excellent shape. The pop top is in great shape. I am the 3rd owner. This bus has always lived in Seattle. $500 deposit within 48hrs of auction close. Payment in full within 7 days of auction close. Buyer handle any shipping. As is where is. VW promises Passat facelift among 2016 changes
Wed, Aug 5 2015Volkswagen has got a whole raft of changes in store for the 2016 model year. Some of those changes are already known, but others are altogether new developments. The biggest news is that the German automaker will roll out a facelifted version of the Passat for 2016. The revised sedan, specific to the North American market, will adopt new sheetmetal, wheels, and lights at both ends. It will also receive a reworked interior with a more premium look and feel and a new instrument panel. It's set to arrive in the fall, with further details to "follow closer to launch." A number of trim-level adjustments are also being applied across the lineup. There'll be a new value-proposition Beetle 1.8T S model, a simplified array of trims for the rest of the Beetle and Tiguan lines, and new Trend and R-Line models for the CC. Lest you think it was finally gone, the Eos cabriolet is also sticking around for another model year in a limited capacity. In addition to these developments, VW is also rolling out a raft of new technologies across a wide variety of models. These include new infotainment features and safety systems, many of which launched on the new Touareg. As we recently reported, there's also a new version of the Jetta GLI, a new 1.4-liter turbo engine for other versions of the Jetta, and a more accessible version of the battery-powered e-Golf as well. Delve into the press release below for a full run-down of all the changes in store for Das Auto brand.
Car Club USA: Waterfest
Tue, Oct 20 2015Car Club USA travels back to Englishtown Raceway Park for Waterfest, a celebration of water-cooled Audi and Volkswagen cars. We catch up with a pair of VW autocross contestants racing for top prize, and a young Audi owner hoping to win best in show for the Garden State Euros car club. "It's massive," explained Garden State Euro's Ryan Topken. "You have tons of vendors, tons of events going on. There's the show. There's the drag strip. There's autocross." "It's pretty much like a frat party for Volkswagens," added fellow club member Carlin Belkowski. Will the guys from Garden State Euros head home with any hardware? Each Car Club USA episode features a different car club or event from across the US, where passionate owner communities gather to share automotive experiences and embark on incredible adventures. Volkswagen Cross Coupe GTE is a sleek take on brand's future CUV
Tue, Jan 13 2015Volkswagen continues its long tease leading up to an eventual US-built, seven-passenger, three-row crossover with the Cross Coupe GTE at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. While it's still affixed with the tinsel of a concept car, there are a lot of details that will arrive on VW's eventual production crossover. The wheelbase of the GTE is said to be identical to the production model, although this five-passenger CUV is actually about a foot shorter overall, Volkswagen's chief of design, Klaus Bischoff, told Autoblog. The overall shape of the GTE's greenhouse, meanwhile, will also be very similar to the car that'll come to market, although more progressive from the C-pillar forward (that's right kids, that sexy sloping rear end isn't for production). Despite the aggressive rake, a peek in the GTE's trunk revealed room for the CUV's third row. Beyond hinting at a new addition to the company's lineup, the GTE also gives us a look at future Volkswagen design, including the use of four-element LED running lamps. Body lines will be as sharp as is feasible. Look for the production version of Volkswagen's seven-passenger SUV at the end of next year. Until then, check out the two-row concept, courtesy of our live images from the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
