Welcome to a great opportunity. If you have been searching for an incredibly attractive, very low mileage, exclusively Florida-owned and driven VW Beetle GLS Convertible, consider your search over. This 2005 Beetle GLS is a newly designed four-seat Convertible Sports Car that is equipped with a very fuel efficient, yet peppy 2.0 liter 4-cylinder L4 engine, matched with a wide-range 6-speed automatic transmission (with Overdrive). This sexy convertible is equally at home whether zipping through town, or traveling on the Interstate. It provide upwards of 32 mpg Highway and the 6-speed transmission really assists with the excellent fuel economy. It was purchased new in sunny West Palm Beach, Florida (the Beverly Hills of the East Coast), and has remained here its entire life.

This high-gloss Graphite Pearl beauty is loaded. The exterior is extra-clean with a mirror finish. Nothing looks quite as impressive as a highly-polished Pearlescent-colored Import, and this GLS Beetle is the perfect canvas. It has the Convertible top package (not manually operated, like a lot of them out there), also full power options and keyless remote entry with security system. This car is a LOT of fun to drive! And with only 51,000 original, sunny South Florida miles, it drives superbly. Super-attractive appearance with factory 16-inch wheels, complete leather Sport interior and Black canvas power top. There is a unique large and airy retractable convertible top that stows easily with the push of a button. The same is also true of the one-touch express windows. One touch, and they all go up, or down at your discretion. Or, you can have them all go up/down one at a time. Enjoy the ice cold air conditioning when the top is up--or go topless!

This fair-weather Beetle has been well cared for and fully serviced and is ready for a new loving home. It is in excellent condition and has been a Florida vehicle its entire life. Being a true Florida vehicle has big advantages. The beautiful, original exterior is in outstanding condition and there is absolutely no rust or corrosion anywhere, and even the underside still looks extra-clean. You certainly won't see that on any northern or mid-west vehicles, so be aware of that when purchasing on eBay. While you may not see the effects of non-fair weather climate now, who knows what will happen it a year or two when buying vehicles outside the Sunshine State. No unsightly parking lot dings, or dents, or scuffs, nicks or chips...so obvious care was used while driving the ridiculously low 5,000 miles per year here in South Florida. Simply amazing.

The Medium Ash Grey leather interior is equally as clean, in fact, it is extra-clean! And this sexy Beetle Convertible looks just as appealing with the top up, or down. The rich leather is in excellent, perfect condition, as are the carpets and dashboard. No rips, tears, stains, odors...none of that nonsense. The Black Canvas power top still looks like new. It is obvious that this Convertible was a garaged vehicle. The factory aluminum/alloy wheels are very sharp-looking and compliment this convertible nicely. This Beetle boasts a complete set of premium heat-and-speed rated Uni-directional All-season performance radials all the way around, and really help give this Beetle a very smooth and quiet ride and also help it handle nice and tight. Driving this car is a dream! Loads of fun! And this is also a non-smoker's car so it is nice and fresh inside. You should start getting the picture here. This is a quality car that has been extremely well maintained and was used mainly to cruise around Palm Beach and enjoy all its fine shopping and dining, more than it was used for Interstate travel. There are not any visible rock or chip marks on the hood or bumper, which is quite remarkable. Both for a dark colored car, and also for one that is nearly 10 years old! That should speak volumes on how it was cared for.

We are Jacksonville Beaches newest Import Dealership and we have this exceptionally maintained automobile offered for sale for 7 days with No Reserve. That's right, one lucky and savvy bidder with be getting a great drop-top that is ready for the summer season. And its a 4-seater....so you can bring your friends! That's less than 5,000 miles per year! Since it has lived in South Florida, I'm sure this classy Beetle had its share of front Valet spots. Everything works perfectly and properly (from the Cruise control, to the High-power stereo, to the electric mirrors), and all this beauty needs is a new home. Striking good looks makes this Beetle an easy choice. We know that our loyal eBay clientele are looking for an exceptional opportunity--and here it is.

VW Super Bowl teaser with Jimmy Cliff is like a less-mean Tosh.0 Web Redemption

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

Reggae super-duper-star and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jimmy Cliff has been using music to send positive vibes out into the universe for decades now, so its no surprise that his message on behalf of Volkswagen is one of redemption.
Dubbed Sunny Side, this web-spot is VW's warmup of sorts for what promises to be another blockbuster year in the world of Super Bowl commercials. Without giving away the game, the euphonious commercial sees Cliff opening his arms and his heart to some YouTube 'celebrities' that might see courser treatment from the likes of Tosh.0, for instance. We can't help but be reminded of Coca-Cola's legendary 1971 Hilltop spot with the "I'd like to buy the world a Coke" lyric, too.
Enjoy the pre-Super Bowl VW spot below, and don't forget to pay it forward... your karma will thank you. For those of you that just can't get enough of commercial-making magic, we've included a "making-of" video, as well.

Investors storm Volkswagen with $9 billion in lawsuits

Wed, Sep 21 2016

Volkswagen's investors are latest group to take up pitchforks against the embattled automaker, and they're seeking $9 billion in damages, Reuters reports. The investor lawsuits were filed in a court in Braunschweig, Germany, near Volkswagen's Wolfsburg headquarters. On Monday, the first business day following the anniversary of the emissions revelations, the court received 750 lawsuits alone. All told, about 1,400 lawsuits have been filed. The largest single claim totals $3.7 billion and was filed more than six months ago. The lawsuits stem from complaints that Volkswagen didn't divulge information on the cheating software to investors quickly enough. Volkswagen has said that it hasn't broken any capital market laws. The $21.5 billion the company set aside to weather the storm may not be enough. The consumer fix is estimated to run the company $14.7 billion, either through buybacks or a fix that still seems unclear. In addition to the lawsuits, Volkswagen CEO Matthias Mueller confirmed that Audi boss Rupert Stadler is under investigation regarding the scandal. Mueller refused to give further details, but this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Audi has admitted that its 3.0-liter V6 was equipped with the same emissions-cheating software as the 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesels. Stefan Knirsch, Audi's head of development, has been suspended as part of the overall investigation. Knirsch took over duties after his predecessor quit. Knisch was previously head of engine development at Audi. Related Video: News Source: Reuters Green Hirings/Firings/Layoffs Audi Volkswagen Emissions Diesel Vehicles vw diesel scandal
