 1973 Volkswagon Beetle

4 Speed / Runs and Drives Great!!!

True Stock Unmolested Survivor

Trades Possibly Considered

This car came in trade, and I grabbed it with the thought of painting it and keeping it. It is a completely unmolested example of a Beetle, dead stock, and a true survivor. It was owned for a long time from new by a doctor, and he drove it to Mexico several times. The stickers from those adventures are still on the window, see the pictures. The mileage seems original and accurate to me. The interior is perfect, and must have been recently redone. No rips or tears. headliner as well. The back shelf will need to be recovered. It has some sun damage. Great condition except for a couple of cracks in the dash. The body is perfectly straight, with some surface rust spots poking through. The car will need new running boards and a floor pan or two to be perfect, but it seems fairly solid and can certainly be used as is. I was going to make it a Love Bug Herbie replica; you can get the stickers off ebay for about $100.

It runs and drives perfectly. Clutch and brakes all feel good. Starts right up and purrs right along, just like it should. Tires are perfect and fairly new. Car is missing nothing. No visible leaks from the engine compartment, which looks great and stock.

My plans have changed as I have a larger purchase in mind, and I am liquidating lots of toys and collections, so here it is. You won't be disappointed. Great little car!!!

I am a private dealer, and I had the title in my hands about 3 weeks ago, and I'll be damned if I can find it. I do have previous owners info and registration so I can apply for a duplicate title if I can't find it, but I hope it doesn't come to that. It can take several weeks. I'll keep looking.

I'll take a partial trade, but it needs to make a lot of sense financially. I am looking to gather all the cash I can.

Following is the generic description of who I am and what we do. I ran the Boat-N-RV Outlet, a discount franchise of the Boat-N-RV family of Superstores. Our company has several locations up and down the East Coast. I have closed the capital district retail location, and we now sell on ebay and wholesale from our storage facility, located at 9497 Rt. 22, Granville, NY. We have several other storage locations in the area, so be sure to check where a piece is located before you show up to see it. In addition, we represent inventory in all our stores, including Tennessee, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New York. Everything that we sell on eBay is as-is, except if I noted differently above. Just ask. If you require shipping overseas, please check on the prices as best you can from your end before involving me to assist you in the quote. We have very aggressive FINANCING on items 10 years old or newer, as our company does a significant volume of retail business (over 100 million US dollars) with our banks. I will absolutely consider ANYTHING IN TRADE, AND I MEAN IT. Don't be shy. Just be realistic about the value. We will use all our resources to ensure our evaluation is fair, and our resources are extensive. We have been doing this for a lot of years and will put a real number on absolutely anything, i.e. cars, trucks, boats, RV's, bikes, ATV's, power sports, heavy equipment, inventories, tools, collectibles, antiques, livestock, real estate, planes, trains, ANYTHING! I am not an expert in all that, but I'll know someone who is. I handle the eBay sales of specialty pieces, trade-ins, overstocks, leftovers, repos, demos, etc. . . from the organization, and I will deal personally with you throughout the transaction. I am proud of our feedback rating, selling and shipping mostly big ticket motor vehicle / recreational type items worldwide, some over A 1/2 million dollars. I would be glad to tell you why the only two unhappy customers I have had ended up that way. Customer # 1 purchased a used Class A motor home for less than 4000 dollars and got mad when it thru a belt on his way back to Connecticut. I was sorry. Customer # 2 purchased a Class A motor home for under 5000 dollars, wanted to work on it before driving back to Florida in it, and then changed his oil in our yard without using a pan. Boy was I mad. I should have had him arrested. We all learned lessons each time. My pledge is to make every attempt to do the right thing. You do the same and we will have a great transaction. The name is Geof (Jeff) Hoffman, and my cell phone is 518-378-8058. Call anytime to discuss anything relevant, including offers, pre-negotiating, and trade appraising. I will work my schedule to fit yours. We are always open and appreciate the opportunity to earn your

2015 VW Passat Limited Edition priced from $23,995*

Sun, Mar 8 2015

Volkswagen is doing some rearranging of its lineup for the Passat sedan, ditching a pair of trims on the entry level, 1.8-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder and replacing them with a new Limited Edition trim level. Gone are the Wolfsburg and SE trims from model year 2014, which rung up at $24,375 and $26,280, respectively. The new Limited Edition will start at $23,995, not including $820 in destination charging. According to VW, the new trim level packages $2,755 of extras over the base Passat S, but only demands an extra $1,555 of cash. Not a bad bargain, particularly as the Limited Edition adds some desirable features. An intelligent key with push-button start, 17-inch alloy wheels, a rear-view camera, heated leatherette seats with power controls on the driver's side and a touchscreen radio with an eight-speaker stereo, along with a few lesser options, like fog lights, chrome window trim and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Beyond the new list of standard equipment, this is still the same competent German sedan. The 1.8-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder is paired up with a smooth shifting six-speed automatic, as with other trim levels. Check out VW's press release on the new Passat Limited Edition, available below. VOLKSWAGEN RELEASES PRICING ON 2015 PASSAT LIMITED EDITION MODEL Mar 6, 2015 Passat Limited Edition model starts at $23,995 Fuel-efficient 1.8-liter TSI® engine and six-speed automatic transmission standard Value-laden model has a host of standard features, including KESSY® keyless access with push-button start, V-tex leatherette seating surfaces, heatable front seats,17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, touchscreen radio and rearview camera Herndon, VA – Volkswagen of America, Inc., today, announced pricing on the 2015 Passat Limited Edition model. The Limited Edition model will have a starting MSRP of $23,995 (plus transportation) and supersedes the Wolfsburg and SE models from the current model year. The new Limited Edition model offers a great value: compared with the automatic transmission S model, it has $2,755 of additional equipment, but costs just $1,555 more.
