Vehicle looks very good,the light blue paint shines nice,see the pictures.

This is a stock car,down to the hubcaps.

Engine sound great,starts right up,does not leak any oil on the ground,looks like it has a rebuilt carburator and new distributor,no aftermarket parts visible,does not smoke at all.It has a high idle at start up,I am not sure how I can release that choke manually.

Good clutch and brakes,good tires,recent.Spare,repair manual and a gas tank that looks fresh in the front trunk.All gages work.

Both front seats have the vinyl seating area ripped in the middle,see the pictures.Rear bench is fine.

Look at the undercarriage pictures.Floorpans are there,intact,however,there is rust at the seem between the running boards and the body and the drivers side floor is loose along the seem by the door,you can feel the drivers seat bouncing with the floor.

A fix is finally coming for some diesel Volkswagens in America

According to Automotive News, the EPA has approved a fix for select Volkswagen and Audi 2.0-liter diesel vehicles. The fix applies to 2015 VW Beetles, Golfs, Golf SportWagens, Jettas, Passats, and Audi A3s. Unfortunately for a majority of people saddled with cheating VWs, Automotive News reports that only about 70,000 vehicles will get this fix. The remainder of the 475,000 affected cars don't have an approved fix yet. The fix first involves a software update. Later, a particulate filter and additional catalysts will be installed with a further software update. According to Automotive News, the hardware portion will be available next year. Despite the small number of vehicles approved, this may give VW owners some hope that they'll be able to make their cars emissions compliant. Volkswagen also recently got approval for a fix of nine million cars in Europe, and the company may be close to a fix for diesel V6 models. However, for owners of 2.0-liter models uninterested in waiting for a fix, they can still participate in the buyback. Volkswagen would prefer that repurchased cars aren't stripped of parts beforehand, though. Last VW bus ever made arrives at final destination

A Brazilian politician tried to save it, unsuccessfully, so the final Last Edition Volkswagen Type 2 Kombi was produced on December 20, 2013 and now resides in a vintage museum at Volkswagen's Commercial Vehicles HQ in Hanover, Germany.
The Volkswagen Microbus was built for 56 years, starting in September 1957. Brazil was the last country still assembling it, but new safety regulations in the country requiring airbags and ABS on all cars spelled the end. When that politician introduced a bill that would pardon only the 'Bus from a death sentence, it couldn't garner the required number of votes for passage. The South American country takes the Kombi production title, though, with 1.5 million of the 3.5 million total made in the home of Copacabana beach and the girl from Ipanema.
