Great condition. 1968 Type 3 Squareback for sale. 1989 Stroker motor, rebuilt dual 40 DCNF Webers, match ported polished manifolds and heads, rebuilt generator, rebuilt engine transmission with only 3000 miles, new steering box, complete new fuel system, new brakes front and rear, chrome 15 inch Rivieras with new tires, merged headers and tuck away turbo exhaust. Mechanical the car runs great. Some electrical may be needed on gages and turn signals. Cracked front windshield but have replacement window and would need to be installed. No front seats, no windshield wipers and body is fairly straight, minor work may need to be done.

VW to announce $1B investment in Mexico plant
Sun, Mar 8 2015Big news south of the border could be slated for later this week, as Automotive News is reporting that the Volkswagen Group will announce a $1-billion investment in the company's Puebla factory. The company officially declined to comment, but AN is claiming the investment in the Puebla facility, which has been operating for over five decades, will add 1,900 jobs to the nearly 16,000-strong workforce. According to AN, a person familiar with the situation in Puebla claims the investment will support production of the next-generation Tiguan, slated to arrive in 2017. The Puebla factory currently produces Golf, while total output last year nearly hit half a million vehicles, or about 15 percent of Mexico's total automotive output. VW teases GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo concept
Sun, Apr 12 2015Volkswagen was among the first to demonstrate its Vision for Gran Turismo with the GTI Roadster concept, last year. And now it's gearing up to release another one. Previewed in the video clip above and the images in the gallery below, the new GTI Supersport is once again conceptually based on the German automaker's iconic hot hatch. But instead of a roofless design rendered in red, this one has a fixed roof with pseudo NACA ducts and white bodywork, along with twin nostril air extractors in the hood, a giant carbon-fiber rear wing and diffuser, and large side vents. In short, it looks like it'll be awesome, and we'll likely see the full thing before too long – so watch this space.
