This is an extra clean, low mileage Volkswagen Phaeton with the V8 motor. It is a great road driver and has the security of all wheel drive. The only money I have spent on this car was to have it aligned. I also have acquired a Phaeton with the W12 motor and with larger after market wheels. The W12 motor sends it down the road with great ease but the V8 has more than enough power to satisfy all but the most crazy power freaks. A problem I have found with these vehicles is that not many of them have made it into Kansas and to get work done on them I have had to take them to Kansas City, Missouri, to find competent technicians. I need to sell these vehicles and replace them with something familiar to local technicians. Volkswagen Golf Wagon leaked ahead of official unveiling
Sat, 02 Mar 2013Wagons ho! These three images of the upcoming Volkswagen Golf Wagon have leaked online ahead of the car's official debut, which may very well be at the Geneva Motor Show. Looking over the photos doesn't really bring any surprises - after all, this is a VW Golf with a wagon rear end grafted on, or basically what we expect next Jetta SportWagen will be.

Thu, 24 Jan 2013Reggae super-duper-star and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jimmy Cliff has been using music to send positive vibes out into the universe for decades now, so its no surprise that his message on behalf of Volkswagen is one of redemption.
Dubbed Sunny Side, this web-spot is VW's warmup of sorts for what promises to be another blockbuster year in the world of Super Bowl commercials. Without giving away the game, the euphonious commercial sees Cliff opening his arms and his heart to some YouTube 'celebrities' that might see courser treatment from the likes of Tosh.0, for instance. We can't help but be reminded of Coca-Cola's legendary 1971 Hilltop spot with the "I'd like to buy the world a Coke" lyric, too.

Volkswagen Group previews its wares on eve of Geneva show

So the best way to show off the range of the VW family is to cram a few thousand journalists and VIPs into a massive makeshift stand to outline the Group's goals, what's in the pipeline and what you'll be able to buy later this year.
To that end, VW pulled out all the stops on the eve of the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, bringing along 10 vehicles from across the range. We'll be delving into the details of each over the next two days of show coverage, but before that happens, you can read all about what we saw tonight from the cheap seats after the break.
