This Passat was purchased by us in it's current condition with a Salvage Repairable Title. The vehicle will have to pass a salvage inspection before being registered for the road. Please read our description below.  All of our project cars are sold "as is" with no warranty expressed or implied.  We sell everything we list and always selling with No Reserve.

Condition -

exterior - The vehicles exterior is in great condition but has paint/bodywork to the left fender and left front door. Also, there is a dent in the left quarter panel and very light scratches in the lens of the left headlight. The glass is in excellent condition. The tires are Continental ContiProContact (215/60/16) besides one tire which is mismatched. Also, one tire has a cut in the sidewall but does hold air. The rear tires have about 60% tread remaining, while the fronts have about 30% left. Two rims are in excellent condition, while one is heavily scratched and one has one scratch on the outer edge.

drive train - The vehicle runs and drives great. The left front strut may be slightly bent.

interior-  The interior is in excellent condition. All functions work perfectly. The traction control light is on in the dash.

A 10% deposit of the final price is due within three days of the close of the auction.  The balance due is required within 7 days from the close of the auction and must be in the form of a bank wire transfer or cashiers check. 

By law, tax must be collected from New York State residents.

Regency Motors reserves the right to close an auction at any time.

2014 Volkswagen Golf GTD is our favorite oil-burning GTI

The 2014 Volkswagen Golf GTD has officially bowed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Engineers managed to squeeze an additional 14 horsepower and 22 pound-feet of torque out of the familiar 2.0-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine, nudging total output to 184 hp and 280 lb-ft for 2014. The figures are good enough to earn the GTD the honor of being the most powerful diesel Golf in Volkswagen history. A start/stop system helps improve efficiency over the previous generation with the new model consuming 56 miles per gallon on the EU cycle. That's up from the 2013 model's 46 mpg. A six-speed manual transmission is standard equipment, though a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox is also available.
The GTD also offers buyers a few aesthetic tweaks to help separate the hatch from its less potent siblings. Those include a more aggressive front fascia, special badges and 17-inch alloy wheels. Expect to find the GTD in one of three exterior colors, including Tornado Red, Black and Pure White. Check out the quick press release below for more details.
