I am selling my BLACK ON BLACK 2012 TDI JETTA, it currently has 26,940 miles but is still being driven a few miles before sale for test drives. This car is like brand new without the price tag. Black leather heated seats, 6 speed auto DSG transmission, Fender audio system from the factory (sounds awesome), This car gets about 38MPG in town and 45MPG on Highway, also is very peppy for a 4 cylinder turbo diesel. It has windows tinted at 20% all the way around which really made the car look great. My wife and I bought 2 of these cars brand new last march and no longer need two. This car is still under factory warranty until 60k, it has been maintained by only the local VW dealer. The car has 2 new front tires which were replaced by the road hazard due to nails in the side wall. There are some scratches on the paint, most are very minor, the worst one is about 6" long (see pictures) all the rest are small and could be buffed out. If you have any questions feel free to ask...
THE CAR HAS A CLEAN FLORIDA TITLE IN MY HAND, NO LIEN.
Payment: I WILL ONLY ACCEPT CASH OR A BANK CHECK WITH A LETTER, ANY CHECKS WILL BE VERIFIED BEFORE LEAVING WITH THE CAR.
THIS VEHICLE IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END LISTING AT ANYTIME!
$250 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT VIA PAYPAL IS REQUIRED, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR CASH OR FINANCING IN LINE. THE DEAL WILL NEED TO HAPPEN DURING BANK HOURS FOR MY VERIFICATION PURPOSES.

Top 10 small cars with the longest total driving range
Thu, Mar 19 2015Editor's Note: Since this article was originally posted in the spring of 2015, much has changed in the automotive landscape, especially among those shopping for small car economy. With thanks to Volkswagen for their blatant cheating – and subsequent cover-up – on diesel emissions, the largest player in the diesel passenger car segment isn't playing – they're paying; billions are going for both car buybacks and federally-imposed penalties. And for a few VW execs there exists the very real possibility of jail. With the absence of a big player and the abrupt entrance – via Chevy's new Bolt – of an affordable EV with 200+ miles of range, we've limited the diesel listings to Jaguar's new XE. And for those wanting an updated look at efficiency and range, Autoblog has it – or the EPA has it. Long before electric vehicles were part of the mainstream conversation, car lovers and skinflints alike would boast about the total range of their vehicles. There's something about getting farther down the road on one tank of gas that inflames the competitive spirit, almost as much as horsepower output or top speed. Of course, the vehicles with the very best range on today's market are almost all big trucks and SUVs; virtually all have the ability to carry massive reserves of fuel. Top up a standard Chevy Suburban and you can expect to travel almost 700 miles (you'll need to stop before the Suburban stops...), while a diesel-fed Jeep Grand Cherokee manages almost as many. But what about vehicles that are smaller? The EPA has, essentially, three classifications for 'small' vehicles: Minicompact, Subcompact and Compact. All three are measured based on interior volume, meaning that some cars with rather large exterior dimensions and engines slot in next to traditional small cars. But even though impressive GT coupes from Porsche, Bentley and Mercedes-Benz may have much larger gas tanks to feed their powerful engines, that capacity is offset by higher rates of consumption... in most cases. We used the EPA's Fuel Economy Guide for model year 2017 cars as a start, calculating the official highway miles per gallon rating with each vehicle's tank capacity. The resulting numbers aren't necessarily real world, but they do offer a spectrum for total theoretical range. The eventual top ten surprised me on a few occasions, and comprised quite a varied list of vehicles. 10.
Icon goes Derelict on a 1967 VW Bus
Fri, Sep 11 2015Jonathan Ward and Icon have an eye for the little details in everything they make, and that's especially true of the company's Derelict projects. This time they are turning their attention to the '67 Volkswagen Bus. The van might look a little tired at first, but Icon gives the VW a complete makeover to keep it on the road for decades to come. Ward's client for this build had owned VW Buses before but wanted to have a truly usable one. Making that harder, she requested that the final result remain true to the essence of these classic vans. To do that, Icon let the exterior remain almost entirely stock, except for a few minor additions like the roof rack, tent, and a 110-volt outlet hidden at the back. The interior was kept looking original too, but the builders installed custom walnut cabinets and a load of modern upgrades, including air conditioning. The air-cooled boxer engine was also dumped in favor of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder sourced from a Jetta. To really understand just how much is changed, let Ward take you on a complete tour of the overhauled, vintage VW in this clip to show off all of his team's impressive work. Related Video:
Volkswagen Routan dead, pour out a sippy cup for your little homies
Thu, 28 Mar 2013America's minivan wolfpack has just gotten smaller by one. According to Automotive News, Volkswagen officials have confirmed what we've suspected for some time - the Routan is dead. Essentially a lightly reworked version of the Dodge Grand Caravan, the Routan actually hasn't been rolling off of Chrysler's Windsor, Ontario production line at all this year, but VW had yet to confirm its discontinuation. However, Jonathan Browning, CEO of VW America, has reportedly admitted that the Routan is being axed, with remaining units expected to be funneled into corporate functions for "internal purposes."
The move isn't unexpected - the Routan has never been a big seller, with just 57,650 examples moved since sales began in 2008 - peak yearly sales totaled under 16,000 units, and that was back in 2010. And while many have talked of the minivan segment shrinking, Automotive News points out that the segment actually grew 14 percent last year to 597,118 units, though it should be noted that most segments have been on sales upticks as the US economy chugs out of its recession.
So, is volume-crazy Volkswagen prepared to pass on large family vehicle sales? Probably not - the German automaker has signaled that it plans to build a three-row crossover in North America soon, and we wouldn't be surprised if it looks an awful lot like the Crossblue Concept from January's Detroit Auto Show - minus the fancy plug-in diesel powertrain.
