I am the second owner of this very nice 2010 VW GTI. This car has a
clean title with no accident history. The red paint and plaid interior
go together very nicely. Since purchasing the car I have added both
aftermarket headlights and taillights. The car is sitting on black 18"
wheels. I have also added a carbonio cold air intake. I had some fun
with my plastidip as well. You can see the detailing I have done to both
the badges as well as the engine compartment. I love this car, but just
got a new FRS to mess around with so this one has to go. If you have
any questions in regards to the car feel free to message me. The car will also include the original air cleaner as well as the stock head and tail lights.

A fix is finally coming for some diesel Volkswagens in America
Fri, Jan 6 2017According to Automotive News, the EPA has approved a fix for select Volkswagen and Audi 2.0-liter diesel vehicles. The fix applies to 2015 VW Beetles, Golfs, Golf SportWagens, Jettas, Passats, and Audi A3s. Unfortunately for a majority of people saddled with cheating VWs, Automotive News reports that only about 70,000 vehicles will get this fix. The remainder of the 475,000 affected cars don't have an approved fix yet. The fix first involves a software update. Later, a particulate filter and additional catalysts will be installed with a further software update. According to Automotive News, the hardware portion will be available next year. Despite the small number of vehicles approved, this may give VW owners some hope that they'll be able to make their cars emissions compliant. Volkswagen also recently got approval for a fix of nine million cars in Europe, and the company may be close to a fix for diesel V6 models. However, for owners of 2.0-liter models uninterested in waiting for a fix, they can still participate in the buyback. Volkswagen would prefer that repurchased cars aren't stripped of parts beforehand, though. Help a couple drive their 1984 Vanagon around the world
Mon, 22 Apr 2013Meet Brad, Sheena and Nacho
Driving through China is a pricey proposition. The couple will need to pony up a staggering $19,514 just to cover the fees.
Brad and Sheena Van Orden are in the midst of a life-defining campaign to travel around the world, and they're doing it in a 1984 Volkswagen Vanagon custom built for the occasion. The past 15 months have seen the couple quit their jobs with Gore-Tex and drive from Arizona to the very southern tip of Argentina after spending a full two years saving and preparing for the trek. Now they're in southern Asia gearing up for the next leg of their journey.
German prosecutors raid VW, Audi offices
Wed, Mar 15 2017As Volkswagen continues to try to put its diesel emissions scandal behind it, the company has had mixed success. It has agreed to pay penalties and fix or buy back affected vehicles in the US, and has made a strong push to evolve into a greener, mobility-focused company. The scandal just won't die, though, and has, in fact, just escalated. Prosecutors have searched Volkswagen's Wolfsburg, Germany, headquarters, as well as Audi offices in Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm and even the homes of some Audi executives, Reuters reports. The raids, which coincided with Audi's annual earnings press conference, are related to 80,000 diesel vehicles with possible emissions cheat devices sold in the US between 2009 and 2015. European vehicles aren't part of this particular investigation. "With these search orders, we aim to clarify in particular who was involved in deploying the technology concerned and in the provision of false information to third parties," the Munich prosecutor's office says. Audi CEO Rupert Stadler, who says his residence had not been one of those searched, says he is supporting the ongoing investigation, admitting that the company has a long way to go to recover from the scandal. The Dieselgate scandal, as it has come to be known, broke in September 2015. Related Video:
