The Time Traveler
This bus was a real discovery when I found it.This 1973 Riviera camper bus  originally built in Germany was shipped to the united states, then immediately after it's arrival  was shipped to Beaverton,Oregon where it was converted to what is known well as a Riviera camper.

Not only is this bus a true discovery but I would also consider it on the rare side as far as Riviera or any of the coach built campers is concerned.
What makes this so unique are the facts that the design of this bus make's for much comfort,The rear seating area has a full bench seat that folds out as a bed, I know they all have beds but this one is different, instead of having a closet storage area that runs the length of the of the rear bed, that was eliminated and placed behind the driver's area, freeing up a foot or two of sleeping space which can make all the difference in a good nights sleep.
This bus also sports a VERY large bed upstair which will hold 2 adults easily. This is the penthouse, great for all kinds of fun, fantasy and nature viewing.
The condition of the pads for the top bunk are like new, almost as though never used. The condition of the bottom bench seat is very good with no rips, tears,or stains.Another testimony to the overall condition of the vehicle is the fact that the front seat's have no rips or tears, only seam wear.Indicating that great attention and care was given to the overall use of the vehicle.

The Bus Has a brand new paint job which is Palm Green Sand Green an origanal Vw Color from earlier models
Paint is a base coat clear coat. Many hours have gone into making the body straight and shiny although not a show quality finish it only shows minor imperfections.
The bus has many new parts, including a windshield,a new windshield seal, brand new pop top seals all the way around,a new fuel pump and more.
I do have original documentation of maintenance, along with that I found receipts for an engine install and a transmission install.
Bus starts easily and runs great,I have yet to find a drop of oil under it.Brakes and E-brake work, although I would insist on having them gone through.
Wipers, Lights and most of the blinkers are in working order. Both doors open and close wonderfully.
Bus has a working tachometer.
& HEATER WORKS.
Bus is equipped with a working stove, untested refrigerator,a sink with a hand pump, and Electrical outlets for camping
This bus is loaded.
Please note this is an authentic antique vehicle that shows its age in normal areas.

I have and will ship worldwide===No Problem Mate

I do require a 500 dollar non refundable deposit at the close of the auction thru pay pal

Volkswagen reportedly to name Matthias Muller CEO

Thu, Sep 24 2015

Porsche chief executive officer Matthias Muller is expected to be named CEO of Volkswagen AG, the Wall Street Journal and other sources reported Thursday morning. Muller, 62, has led Porsche since Oct. 1, 2010, and jumpstarted the sports-car brand's expansion around the world. He replaces Martin Winkerkorn, who stepped down Wednesday amid the company's worsening diesel scandal. At least three more executives are also expected to be fired, including Volkswagen's US chief and the heads of Audi and Porsche research and development. Both brands are divisions of VW. A US spokesman wouldn't confirm the reports. An official announcement is expected at VW's board meeting on Friday. Muller's ascension caps a stunning week of turmoil for Volkswagen, which manipulated software to make its diesel-powered vehicles appear cleaner during testing that they are in real-world driving. The charges were revealed last week by the EPA, which cited the work of researchers at West Virginia University. About 482,000 vehicles are affected in the United States, which will be subject to recall, and VW estimates about 11 million of its vehicles around the world have the rigged software. The well-regarded Muller was viewed as a front-runner for the job even before Winterkorn stepped down. Before helming Porsche, he oversaw all vehicle projects globally for VW from 2007-2010. Previously, he was in charge of the Audi and Lamborghini product lines, and earlier in his career was responsible for the Audi A3 program in the 1990s. He joined Audi in 1977. He's trained as a toolmaker and studied information technology in Munich. His last name is sometimes spelled Mueller in English. Muller faces immediate challenges as he takes over VW's sprawling 78-year-old industrial empire, including recalls and regulatory actions around the world. In the US alone, the company faces a fine of up to $18 billion. VW, an industrial symbol of Germany, is also far larger than any unit Muller has run in his career. While Porsche sold 189,849 vehicles in 2014 globally, it's one of many VW brands. Collectively they sold 5.04 million vehicles through the first six months of this year, making Volkswagen the world's largest automaker. Related Video:

Italian investigators search Lambo headquarters in VW probe

Thu, Oct 15 2015

Italian investigators searched Lamborghini headquarters on Oct. 15 to look for evidence of managers' involvement in Volkswagen's emissions cheating. VW's main office in Verona was also inspected, according to Reuters. Lamborghini is owned by Volkswagen, and Lambo in turn is listed as the owner of VW Group Italia. Authorities wanted to find out if employees were conscious that the vehicles were skirting emissions rules. "It is one thing if I sell water and pretend it's wine, but if I sell water believing it is wine it's different." Verona chief prosecutor Mario Giulio Schinaia said to Reuters. Italian newspaper Gazetta del Sud reported that several managers in Italy were under investigation for alleged fraud. Prosecutors in Germany have also been rigorously investigating VW, and they recently staged a similar raid on the company's headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany. The automaker reportedly turned over documents and other data relating to the software defeat device. Meanwhile, VW's internal investigation has turned up little wrongdoing, though a recent leak suggested otherwise, and at least 30 managers could have known about the defeat device. The automaker has disputed that figure. Volkswagen of America CEO Michael Horn testified before Congress that he believed only a few individuals were involved. The situation hasn't been easy on VW in the US, either. The Department of Justice has also been pursuing an investigation into the automaker. Plus, state attorneys general are filing lawsuits against the company for defrauding customers. VW has until Nov. 20 to explain a repair for the problem to the California Air Resources Board. VW takes world sales crown from Toyota for first half of 2015

Tue, Jul 28 2015

Despite uncertainty in major markets like Russia and China, Volkswagen is wearing the global sales crown for the first half of the year to overtake Toyota. Through the first six months of 2015, VW sold 5.04 million vehicles, which only narrowly beat its Japanese rival's 5.02 million, Reuters reports. The half-year trophy also placed the German brand one step closer to the goal of being the world's largest automaker. VW can't just cruise through the second half of 2015 to continue wearing the crown, though. The company is a major player in China, and that might start to be a disadvantage soon. Auto demand there is expected to be weak for the rest of the year, which could mean dire effects for companies around the world. According to Reuters, the Western European market shows few signs of a sudden surge, either. To turn things around, VW is working on a massive realignment to be more responsive by organizing its 12 brands under four separate holding companies. One factor in VW's favor is that Toyota is facing its own sales struggles across the globe. In the last fiscal year, the Japanese automaker had growing profits but actual volume was down. At the time, the company predicted a drop to 8.9 million vehicles for the current fiscal period. According to Reuters, Toyota has had problems growing in emerging markets and dealing with higher taxes on small vehicles in Japan. For all of 2014, Toyota held the sales trophy with 10.23 million sales, and VW was in second place with 10.14 million. General Motors came in third with 9.92 million. The year was the first time that VW or Toyota had ever surpassed 10 million vehicles over the stretch of a calendar. Related Video:
