It is virtually brand new but lets remember it is eight years old so even if it sits it can get some ware and tare. The front emblem has a couple of spots on the outer chrome (pic included). You can replace the emblem for $15.00. There are a few stress cracks on the rear bumper (pics included). Most likely from bumping lightly into something in the garage. There is even a smaller stress crack on the front bumper under the passenger headlamp (pic included). You could have a paint repair business take care of both spots for under $300.00. We wanted to list the Bug in the condition it came to us and let the customer decide whether they wanted to take care of the small issues. To be honest, both spots on the bumper are hardly noticeable. The convertible top on the top part of the glass has started to separate a little (pic included). It either needs a new molding or fresh sealer etc. Again we wanted the Bug in original condition."

2005 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE GLS TURBO****5,000 ORIGINAL MILES******LEATHER, AUTOMATIC, HEATED SEATS AND POWER TOP.  We have TWO Combo Keys, books, rear boot and factory floor mats.

The car is legitimately a 5,000 mile car.  Title reads ACTUAL miles and Carfax verifies the miles to be ACTUAL.  When you see the car in person there will be no mistake as to the 5,000 miles.  It is an absolute cream puff of a car.  Please leave me a message with your email address and I can send any one that inquires the Carfax Report.

We have a few other vehicles on eBay at this time after a long break.  Approx haven't sold a car on eBay since '09 I believe.  We had some well received positive feedback in our short stint of listing cars back then.  Since that time we had been concentrating on the wholesale end of our business by selling 500-600 cars a year since that time.  Since eBay is pretty much like wholesaling to the public, we have decided to give it a try again.  We have picked a few and will periodically pick a few either unique or low low mileage cars to list.  Also making sure the cars have no stories and no excuses to be made for them.  So you won't see any fancy graphics or big bright beautiful colors on our page.  Pretty much just the facts.  No declarations as to our expertise or that we have been "family owned" for 900 years or so...ha ha.  I always go with the philosophy if your honest with me, I will be more than honest with you.  Feel free always to ask me any questions you see fit and I will respond swiftly and honestly with respect.

Please look at the description section of the ad.  The Bug is pretty much a 9.5 out of 10.  It has a few small things that could use some attention if you so choose.  As I stated numerous times, we wanted to leave the Bug in the condition we received the car.  If you wanted to make the car a 10 you would have to spend approx less than 500-600 dollars.  It is ready to be driven once it hits your home area.  No need for tires, oil changes etc.....

We accept paypal, cashiers checks, bank checks or any local bank or credit union drafts.

Shipping is the buyers responsibility.

If you have any questions cares or concerns email me @ cbwholesaleautos@gmail.com or call Christopher @ 561 662 8931.  Thanks for listening..

Who wants to pay a million dollars for a VW Beetle?

Mon, Jun 1 2015

The Volkswagen Beetle was always envisioned as a cheap mode of transportation, but now one is being offered for over $1 million by a dealer in the company's home base of Wolfsburg, Germany. So just what makes this Beetle so special? It's not the first one made, and it's not the last one made – but it comes close: This particular example is an Ultima Edicion – one of the final Bugs made in Mexico before production ended even there in 2003. It's decked out in beige with a black fabric interior and none – repeat, none – of the bells and whistles. With less than 75 miles on the odometer, it offers one wealthy buyer the rare opportunity to get an original Beetle (not some modernized incarnation thereof) in factory-fresh condition, which no one has been able to do for over a dozen years now. Does that make it worth the million-euro ($1.1M) asking price? Not if you ask us, no. But then we wouldn't count ourselves among the most dedicated Beetle fanatics out there.

UAW angered over VW workers getting right to defend anti-union vote

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

The United Auto Workers have called a decision by the National Labor Relations Board allowing anti-UAW employees at the Volkswagen factory in Chattanooga the right to defend voting down unionization at the plant "an outrage."
You'll recall that the union was defeated by a vote of 712 to 626 in a contentious February election. The UAW claims the outcome was unfairly swayed by pro-business, anti-union forces, including Senator Bob Corker and political advocate Grover Norquist.
This new decision by the NLRB essentially gives workers backed by the anti-UAW National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation and Southern Momentum a formal voice in the impending hearing on the UAW's appeal of the vote.

Major automakers urge Trump not to freeze fuel economy targets

Mon, May 7 2018

WASHINGTON — Major automakers are telling the Trump administration they want to reach an agreement with California to avoid a legal battle over fuel efficiency standards, and they support continued increases in mileage standards through 2025. "We support standards that increase year over year that also are consistent with marketplace realities," Mitch Bainwol, chief executive of the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, a trade group representing major automakers, will tell a U.S. House of Representatives panel on Tuesday, according to written testimony released on Monday. The Trump administration is weighing how to revise fuel economy standards through at least the 2025 model year, and one option is to propose freezing the standards through 2026, effectively allowing automakers to delay investments in technology to cut greenhouse gas emissions from burning petroleum. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not formally submitted its joint proposal with the Environmental Protection Agency to the White House Office of Management and Budget for review. Even so, last week, California and 16 other states sued to challenge the Trump administration's decision to revise U.S. vehicle rules. Auto industry executives have held meetings with the Trump administration for months and have urged the administration to try to reach a deal with California even as they support slowing the pace of reduction in carbon dioxide emissions that the Obama administration rules outlined. One automaker official said part of the message to President Donald Trump at a meeting on Friday will be to consider California like a foreign trade deal that needs to be renegotiated. Automakers want to urge him to get automakers a "better deal" — as opposed to potentially years of litigation between major states and federal regulators. On Friday, Trump is set to meet with the chief executives of General Motors, Ford, Fiat Chrysler and the top U.S. executives of at least five other major automakers, including Toyota, Volkswagen AG and Daimler AG, to talk about revisions to the vehicle rules. Senior EPA and Transportation Department officials will also attend. Environmental groups are eager to keep the rules in place, saying they will save consumers billions in fuel costs. A coalition of groups plans to stage a protest outside Ford's headquarters in Michigan.
