2013 Toyota Tundra Base Extended Crew Cab Pickup 4-door 4.0l on 2040-cars

Very nice Tundra Double Cab 2WD with 12500 miles. Original owner, never wrecked or abused. Exterior sheet metal and interior very nice with one small mar in front bumper ( see Photo). Bed has scratches, since it was actually used to haul stuff. Some spray on bed liner and it would look like new again. More bins and compartments than an Egyptian tomb, two glove boxes, and room for more cups than passengers! Rear seats fold flat against rear cab wall for more hauling room. Seats are practical vinyl, and floor is rubber covered so truck can be used like a truck, but still be comfortable. 270 hp V6 does not lack for power and will pull most normal sized loads. Five speed automatic transmission. Class III frame hitch also includes hitch extension with three different sized trailer balls. Vehicle is also wired for typical 4 plug trailer harness. Dual control A/C and heat, cruise, power windows, locks, steering and ABS brakes. AM-FM Stereo with single CD player and MP3 plug for your iPod. Always serviced at Toyota and records are available. Rated at an accurate 16/20 mpg. Large 26 gallon tank gives this vehicle an impressive cruising range. No mechanical issues. Still lots of factory warranty (3 year/36000 miles) remaining. I'm in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Fly in and drive it home, no matter where home is. Pick up from either Tampa or Sarasota airport can be provided if needed. If you want to ship it, all shipping costs are at the expense of the buyer, but I will be happy to work with any trucking company on my end.

Toyota JPN Taxi Concept is a Japanese riff on an English classic
Wed, 20 Nov 2013As far as beasts of burden go, New York City's new - and much maligned - Nissan NV200 "Taxi of Tomorrow" isn't a bad one. It's space efficient, reasonably economical, and its simple construction should mean it's pretty robust over the long haul, too. But it lacks panache and a sense of occasion - let alone a sense of humor - three things this this Toyota JPN Taxi Concept we found at the Tokyo Motor Show has in spades.
Unfortunately, that's about all the information we have on this cheeky London-taxi-inspired showcar. Toyota hasn't provided much in the way of details, other than to proclaim that the five-seat JPN was "created with Japanese hospitality in mind" and it "aims to enliven city streets." Japan's livery landscape has long been occupied by traditional three-box sedans - models like the Toyota Crown and Nissan Cedric. The JPN Taxi at just over 171 inches would appear to offer both a tighter footprint and added whimsy, both of which are in the automaker's favor; we hear it hopes this concept will one day become the country's own version of America's yellow Crown Vic cab.
Toyota isn't providing powertrain specifications, but we like the airy feeling of the interior (Japanese cabs typically don't have cumbersome partitions between cabbie and passengers), the minimalist driver area with three screens, and the widescreen overhead video system for passengers that bookends the panoramic moonroof. Check it out in our gallery of live shots and let us know what you think in Comments.
See how Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell car is made [w/videos]
Tue, Feb 24 2015Toyota kicked off production of the Mirai hydrogen fuel cell sedan at its Motomachi factory campus in December, and at the time the company had orders for 200 of them. In just the few months since then, demand has already jumped to requests for at least 1,500 of the potentially revolutionary vehicles. For the first time, the Japanese brand is taking viewers into the innovative model's production process and showing the sedate pace of putting them together. The line used for the Mirai was formerly home to Lexus LFA production. Like that low-volume, cutting-edge supercar, Toyota is prioritizing quality and precision for its fuel cell vehicle. At the moment, it's building just three of the sedans per day with a tight, dedicated team. According to Automotive News, there are just 13 people assembling the cars right now, and at most they could only complete 10 per day. The production process for the Mirai is more akin to a boutique sportscar than the high-volume efficiency Toyota usually shows. There's no belt moving them along, and instead each one is pushed between areas. With so much riding on these models, this approach is meant to guarantee an attention to quality. "These facilities are not so advanced. Rather, we rely on the work of our skilled employees. This is similar to how things were when Toyota was just starting out," said Toyota President Akio Toyoda during a ceremony at the plant, according to Automotive News. Toyota has released a gallery of images and five videos showing the major steps in the Mirai's production process, including the complicated installation of the fuel cell stack.
