Here is a 2007 Toyota Tacoma extended cab. This truck is equipped with 4x4 and a 2.7 4 cylinder with 5 speed manual transmission.

See the video:

I bought this truck from the original owner in october of 2013 since then I have put about 12,000 miles on it including a trip across country the truck has performed flawlessly. As soon as I got it I installed 5 new bfg all terrain tire in 235 85 16 one size larger than the stock tires. I also added a 2'' reciever hitch, and a bestop cap which can be easily folded down for carrying larger items. When I got the truck it had 172000 miles on it the previous owner had kept it meticulously maintained. I performed some preventive maintenance on it, this included new front rotors and brake pads, lower ball joints, driveshaft carrier bearing, left wheel bearing, spark plugs, serpentine belt, pvc valve and clutch master cylinder. The only issues that the truck has is the airbag light is on which Toyota will fix free under a recall and the clutch throw out bearing whines when idling in neutral.  The truck runs and drives great I would not hesitate to drive it cross country at any time and depend on it 100%. Even with the oversized tires it gets a consistent 21- 22mpg on the highway. Everything works including the 4x4. It does have some cosmetic flaws as seen in the photos but no rust on the body and only surface rust no rot on the frame. Overall this is a excellent economical 4x4 pickup that will go strong for many many more miles.

Toyota officially outsells GM, VW through first three quarters

Tue, 29 Oct 2013

When it comes to global vehicle deliveries, the term "Big Three" doesn't apply to Ford, Chrysler and General Motors, but instead Toyota, GM and Volkswagen - in that order - through the third quarter of 2013. Toyota sold 7.41-million vehicles through the third quarter and is on track to deliver more vehicles this year than GM and VW, which sold 7.25-million and 7.03-million, respectively, through the same period, Bloomberg reports.
During the third quarter, from July to September, Toyota's 2.5-million deliveries helped to push it higher than its closest competitors this year. In that period, GM delivered 2.4-million vehicles while VW posted 2.33-million deliveries.
Part of the reason behind Toyota's and other Japanese automakers resurgence globally is the weakened yen, which can be attributed to policies made by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe since he took office in December 2012. Many refer to those monetary easing policies as 'Abenomics,' which has led some, such as Ford, to call Japan a currency manipulator and is a big reason why the US is lobbying to oppose Japan's entry into the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

How new car shortages may impact your buying experience

Wed, 04 Sep 2013

If you want further proof that the auto industry is bouncing back, look no further than the empty lots and forecourts of your local dealership. According to a story by The Wall Street Journal, continued high demand for mainstream cars is overtaxing automakers' ability to produce enough models. Several dealers interviewed for the story are reporting two-week supplies as opposed to the typical two-month allocations.
With sales expected to hit 1.4 million units when August numbers arrive shortly and incentive spending down to its lowest amount since January, these limited supplies are pushing prices even higher. For example, according to the WSJ, the average price of a Ford Fusion is up past $26,000. Unfortunately, it's difficult for manufacturers to increase production quickly. If it invests in its facilities, as many manufacturers have done, it risks wasting cash if growth suddenly slows. At the same time, the momentum gained over the past several years could be short lived if vehicle supplies continue to dwindle. "Manufacturers are in a precarious situation," notes Karl Brauer, a senior director at Kelley Blue Book.
Low interest rates and a wealth of desirable features are also allowing customers to purchase more expensive vehicles while justifying their higher overall price tags, a situation that is compounding supply shortages. Even now, during the annual end-of-summer clearance season, deals on new vehicles are remarkably difficult to come by. According to the report, the Toyota Corolla is in a self-inflicted state of shortage, as Toyota clears out inventory in anticipation of the new 2014 generation arriving in dealers. Ford's supplies should rebound as Fusion production comes on line at its Flat Rock, Michigan factory. The Chevrolet Impala, Honda Odyssey, Civic, and Accord and Subaru Forester are also facing shortages.
