Well heres one of the big ones up for sale. Car originally owned by James Yen, cover car for Turbo magazine, then Ryan Woon, Guilly Polo, and Craig Lieberman, Kahanu and myself. This car has the best of the best of everything. It has been upgraded and maintained with nothing but the best parts, always, period. It has EVERYTHING you could possibly want your supra to have. Genuine TRD widebody, HKS 3.4l stroker, Big HKS twin setup, and everything in between. I bought this car last summer and had it shipped into the ConUS from Hawaii. I have spent pretty much the entire time Ive owned it fixing a few things wrong and upgrading parts to make it even more perfect than it was. Both the HKS 3.4 motor and head, and the V160 are very new, with only a few thousand miles on both. The whole drivetrain is very fresh.
Heres some of the bigger things Ive had done to the car since I purchased it
-The HKS twin turbo kit was revamped, brand new downpipes purchased and installed, and new custom -10 oil drains to stop an oil leak under the forward turbo.
-I pulled the old OS giken quad plate clutch and installed a brand new RPS billet triple carbon. Much easier pedal and engagement. The clutch has a whopping 500 yards on it.
-All the dash panels were replaced and professionally painted to match the car.
-A new Carbon gauge pod was installed on the dash that looks much nicer than the old one.
-All the rear tires on both sets of wheels were replaced, and are all new. Brand new Nitto Invos on the work wheels 325s, and BFG drags on the CCWs, 345s, maybe 150 miles on the BFG drags, nittos maybe 20 miles. Fronts are all full tread as well.
-Leak on the rear pumpkin fixed.
-All new hardware installed on the Titan carbon driveshaft.
-ABS pulled and trac pumps pulled, cleaned up the engine bay, eliminated all the stuff dedicated to that. Ran new brakelines.
-New fuel system put in the car. Upgraded to a dual feed setup with dual new denso pumps and id1000 injectors.
-Added an HKS knock amp to monitor AF ratio and knock readings.
-Added jl audio rear speakers to the sound system.
-Added 2 3" Vibrant resonators, one on each midpipe before they conjoin into 1 4"
-Replaced HKS cam gears (that can wear out) with the new Titan cam gears
The list goes on, Ive only driven the car a few hundred miles since I purchased it, as winter arrived shortly thereafter, and the rest of the time its been up on the lift getting things replaced, worked on and perfected. This thing is ready to go!
Here is a list of what the car has on it. Im sure there are many little things missing.

Any questions shoot me an email, Id be happy to talk to anyone about the car in depth. This car has everything sorted and ready to go, and is one of the meanest supras ever built. I am starting the auction at thousands below what I have into the car, and I got a very good deal on it last summer. Life priorities have changed so unfortunately its time to say goodbye to the fast cars for a while.
*Want to ad, in case I wasn't clear, The car comes with both the Work Equips, and the CCW wheels. All tires on all wheels are full tread. The rears on both sets were put on this fall right before the car was put up for storage.
Some old fs ads, long before it was a stroked monster running big turbos

Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic
Mon, Oct 24 2016Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. Toyota TRD Pro Chase Trucks are ready to hit the desert at SEMA
Wed, 05 Nov 2014Toyota marks the 35th anniversary of its Toyota Racing Development performance arm this year, and the division is celebrating at this year's SEMA Show with a quartet of tuned off-roaders based on on the 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra that look more than ready to go just about anywhere.
All four of them will take part in this year's Baja 1000 race, but only the Tundra (far left in the above photo) is actually competing. The other three will be there to act as support vehicles.
Inspired by the production TRD Pro Series trucks, the 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra are prepared by off-road fabricator N-Fab with a mix of TRD and the company's own parts to be able to take whatever the grueling, 1,000-mile can throw at them. The trio is fettled with extra communications equipment, GPS, additional lights and all sorts of body and suspension modifications to help them survive the ordeal.
2020 Ford Explorer vs 3-row crossover rivals: How they compare on paper
Thu, Jan 10 2019The 2020 Ford Explorer has finally landed, and if history serves as an indicator, it should be bigger than sliced bread. And people sure love themselves some sliced bread. This new Explorer may look familiar on the outside, but beneath the skin is a radically new rear-drive platform related to the Ford Mustang (as opposed to a front-drive platform related to the Ford Taurus and a Volvo from the 1990s). Turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engines now exclusively rest under its hood, which as you'll see below, both better anything its competitors offer. Ah, but if you're curious to know how the new 2020 Explorer compares to its various three-row family crossover rivals, take a look at the chart below where we stack it up against the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse, 2019 Honda Pilot, 2020 Hyundai Palisade, 2019 Subaru Ascent and 2019 Toyota Highlander. There are others of course (Mazda CX-9, Dodge Durango, GMC Acadia, VW Atlas), but we only had so much room on the chart, and these were the newest and/or most likely to be cross-shopped with the new Explorer. Engine specs and towing Although the Traverse's V6 just nips it on horsepower, the 2020 Explorer's base 2.3-liter "EcoBoost" turbocharged four-cylinder engine smokes it on torque. Therefore, "best-in-class" power seems like a fair claim from Ford. That there's also a 365-horsepower turbo V6 available, plus a hybrid and even-more powerful ST model on the way shows that Ford isn't kidding around under the hood. Curb weight also seems competitive for the segment. In terms of drivetrain, the Explorer is the only member of this particular group to come standard with rear-wheel drive (2.3-liter only). The Durango is the only other three-row, non-luxury crossover to do so. This is significant for two reasons: First, you could potentially do a power slide in an Explorer. Second, and more important, those in the Snowbelt will have to opt for all-wheel drive (it comes standard with the 3.0-liter). By contrast, a set of winter tires will probably do the job just fine if you want to save some money and gas by sticking with its rivals' standard front-wheel drive. Well, except for the Subaru Ascent — that's standard with AWD. In terms of towing, the Explorer takes the cake with as much as 5,300 pounds for the four-cylinder and 5,600 pounds for the V6. Everything else tops out at 5,000, though again, the Durango is capable of besting them all thanks to its Hemi V8 engine option.
