This is a 1984 Toyota Supra. The car came from California and was garage kept since new. It has had the same owner since new until 2 months ago. It was owned by an elderly gentleman in Sunnyvale California. The car runs and drives like new. The motor runs smooth and has no overheating issues. The car tracks straight at highway speeds and the brakes work exceptionally well. The pictures tell the condition. The paint is original. There is no rust on the car. The AC blows cold. The car has no issues except the passenger power mirror doesn't work and the radio works intermittently. It has leather seats,automatic transmission and a sunroof. The original window sticker has a price of $18013.00. These cars are very hard to find in this condition. There are very few aftermarket parts available for this car so trying to restoring one is next to impossible. There may be less expensive cars out there but due to the lack of parts, the condition that car is in will be the best it will ever be. Chevy Bolt wins 2017 Green Car of the Year
Thu, Nov 17 2016We knew that a plug-in vehicle was going to win the 2017 Green Car of the Year award this year, given that all five finalists have a way to charge up. And when Ron Cogan, the editor and publisher of Green Car Journal, announced the winner – the 2017 Chevy Bolt EV – he said that the car itself represents one of those times in the auto industry when everything is about to change. Similar to the invention of the starter motor, things are about to get different. For now, though, the fact that the Bolt EV won an award sounds like the same old thing all over again. Just this week, it was named Motor Trends Car of the Year and to the Car And Driver Top 10 list. The other four finalists for Green Car of the Year included the Toyota Prius Prime, the Chrysler Pacifica, the Kia Optima (including hybrid and plug-in hybrid models) and the BMW 330e iPerformance. Final decision on Toyota/BMW sports car due by year end
Fri, Sep 18 2015BMW and Toyota signed a memorandum of understanding to share technology and build a sports car way back in 2012, and months later, they made that partnership official. This oft-rumored model from two auto industry titans still hasn't hit the road, and the time has come to make a final decision about its future. Thankfully, the model's fate is just a few months from being known. "By the end of the year we will approve whether or not we will make it," a Toyota spokesperson said about the sports car project, according to Automotive News Europe. "The whole study before that, on what kind of platform, on what kind of architecture, that's been progressing quite well. We haven't yet decided to give the green light to the project, but it's coming up." The collaboration is supposed to result in jointly developed fuel-cell tech, composites, and research into lithium-air batteries. Little is officially known about what Toyota and BMW are planning for the sports car project, but there are plenty of rumors about what's in store. Both automakers are supposed to get their own version of the vehicle. Some reports say the Japanese model will be the revival of the Supra, and the Bimmer-badged one might end up being a replacement for the Z4. The potential powertrains have been suggested as a German-sourced, turbocharged inline six with rear-wheel drive and a super-capacitor-powered plug-in hybrid with all-wheel drive.
