1989 Toyota Land Cruiser Fj 62 Base Sport Utility 4-door 4.0l on 2040-cars

This is an excellent condition 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 62 4x4. The mileage is 170,500. There is very little rust, and the pictures show the areas that have it. This car rides perfectly, the transmission shifts smoothly, and the 4X4 works great. The air blows cold. This is very low mileage for a 25 year old truck. There is a very good Pioneer radio system with ipod jack included. The tires are in good condition, and have a lot of life left in them. I have personally had 10 land cruisers over the years, and this one is one of the nicest ones I have ever seen. There is some fading in the paint, so you can leave it like it is, or you could have the truck repainted and make it look new. These cars are collector's items, and are very hard to find with this mileage and overall condition. Please feel free to email me with questions.
On Jan-27-14 at 11:22:46 PST, seller added the following information: Just installed new radio antenna on Jan 27. Had to install new passenger side window control and motor. Car needs new tires. You can get them on your own, or I can get a great deal on some if you want them priced. Local wholesaler has some low milage ones that come off wrecks. This is the third 1989 I have owned, and I have never had one with the pickup this one has. They usually will not get out of their own way. This one zips along and has great acceleration. The truck needs to be painted if you wanted to respore it. The paint is dull in most places. The body is in very good condition, with very little rust. Their are seat covers that come with the auction, that fit over all of the seats, and match the factory ones perfectly. The picture above of the back seat is after I slipped the cover over it. It looks new. Feel free to email me if you want a picture of anything in particular. |

Sunday Drive: Big debuts from the Big Apple dominated the headlines
Sun, Apr 1 2018New York Auto Show week has come and gone, and, not surprisingly, the week's biggest bits of news came from the halls of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in NYC. Our favorite debut from New York was the Lincoln Aviator, a sharp-dresses crossover that looks lovely inside and out, and sits on underpinnings at least partly derived from the Ford Mustang. While the Aviator may have caught our attention, it wasn't the most popular vehicle debut from New York, at least when judging by the number of page views here on Autoblog. That distinction goes to the 2019 Toyota RAV4, and we're hardly surprised. The RAV4 is the most popular compact crossover in America (in fact it's the most popular vehicle that isn't a pickup truck), and the 2019 version looks like a radical departure from the model that came before. We can't wait to drive the thing. Midsize sedans may not be the darling of the family car set, that honor taken over by the aforementioned crossover, but they still sell in large enough numbers that a brand-new model catches our attention. Such is the case with the 2019 Nissan Altima. We broke down the specs of the Altima and compared Nissan's bread-and-butter sedan with its biggest rivals. And finally, we got some official figures for the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt. It'll cost a cool $12,000 over the cost of a Mustang GT, and will benefit from a 480-horsepower, 420-pound-foot version of Ford's excellent 5.0-liter V8 engine. As always, stay tuned this week for all the latest automotive news that's fit to print. 2018 New York Auto Show Mega Photo Gallery | Start spreading the news 2019 Toyota RAV4 actually looks pretty cool 2019 Nissan Altima vs Honda Accord vs Toyota Camry: How they compare 2019 Mustang Bullitt orders open as Ford reveals price and horsepower Image Credit: Drew Angerer/Getty New York Auto Show Ford Lincoln Nissan Toyota Coupe Crossover SUV Sedan 2018 new york auto show
Toyota recounts past Supra glories
Mon, 29 Jul 2013It could just be a slow start to the news week around the Toyota offices, but its UK blog has posted a brief history on its legendary Supra sports car. Read into however you'd like, but there has been plenty of speculation as to the return of the Supra nameplate in recent years (including last month from incoming Toyota chairman Takeshi Uchiyamada).
Built from April 1978 through July 2002, Toyota's sports coupe made quite a name for itself as both the Celica Supra (shown above) and the Supra, and the blog post charts many of the changes and highlights through the years. Head on over to the Toyota UK blog to read more about this Supra's history, and then be sure to check out the gallery of images from Toyota spanning all four generations.
