This FJ62 was part of the Miller Motorsports Toyota Museum. It has 127,782 original miles and is in exceptional condition. 100% original paint, interior and trim. It has been sitting for a while in the collection, so we just finished combing through it and addressed the following details found after our major inspection process; Full OEM Tune up with new plugs / wires / cap / rotors / air & fuel filters, turned the front brake rotors, new pads / grease seals / hub gaskets/brake hoses and re-packed bearings, new rear brake shoes / wheel cylinders / hoses, new battery / hold down / J-bolt, new wiper blades and end caps (3), new radiator cap, full oil and filter change plus chassis lube service, new transfer case output shaft seal and fresh gear oil, and more. 2023 Japan Mobility Show Editors' Picks
Tue, Oct 31 2023No, it's no longer called the Tokyo Motor Show, but the Japan Mobility Show is still in Tokyo and it still has to do with motors. In fact, with the rise of EVs, it's more of a motor show than ever before. And there were an astounding number of motors (and engines) to see, or at least concepts that hypothetically have them. Truly, we haven't seen a turnout this amazing since before the pandemic. As such, the 2023 Japan Mobility Show featured plenty of machines that could, and did, snag points from our editors. And yet, even with the massive field, one car, unequivocally, stole our hearts. Read on to see our favorites.  Toyota Land Cruiser Se concept View 4 Photos 5. Couple survives 50-foot fall from overpass in Toyota
Tue, 11 Feb 2014It doesn't matter the make or model - modern vehicles are technological miracles when it comes to occupant protection. Take this story out of New York City, which involved two people going for a very wild ride in a Toyota Matrix.
Carlos and Raquel Broadbelt were on the Cross Bronx Expressway overpass when they hit a patch of ice while dodging a pothole, sending them hurtling into a guardrail and over the side of the overpass. They fell 50 feet onto the road below. Despite the catastrophic accident - and the mangled Toyota - both driver and passenger walked away. The couple spent a night in the hospital just for observation.
The Broadbelts' miraculous survival has even surprised doctors, who told Dave Carlin from CBS New York they'd never seen an accident like it. Take a look below for the full news report from CBS New York.
