Ready to drive anywhere. Things that have been done in the last 6 months. Front shocks, rear air shocks, front brakes with new calipers, new radiator, clutch master cyl, new gas cap I lost the old one, oil changed every 3 months, tune up 4 months ago.

Windshield is cracked on passenger side, passenger seat has small hole in cushion, radio is missing face plate. Power steering pump has a small leak, dent under r/rear door, dent above gas door, truck has been repainted 9/14/13 the rust was taken care of at this time so so job, manuel chock needs fixed. Truck is cold blooded on a cold morning but I feel chock should fix this.  It has never failed to start for me in the 6 years I've owned it.

Front and rear bumpers are heavy duty with a place for a winch in front rear bumper has hitch and is trailer wired, 4 wheel drive works perfect I use it alot here in Montana.

6 cyl 2 F engine 4 speed trans. driven daily for the past 6 years.  This Land Crusier has alot of life left and only needs a good home that can use and enjoy it.

I have relisted truck because the last auction went to high. $4900.00 was to much for this truck.  It is a good dailey driver and I would drive it most anywhere tomorrow but $4900 was to much.  I will start the bidding at $2700.00 and put a buy it now at $3500.00  I have taken alot of pics so look close. The pics were taken 10/10/13  Also be sure to check on shipping before bidding prices are high. I will help with shipping anyway I can. Good luck

Jay Leno gets behind the curtain on the design of the Toyota FT-1 concept

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

Hinting at the future of Toyota performance vehicles, the FT-1 concept was one of the stars of the Detroit Auto Show this year. It even nabbed fourth place in our Editors' Choice list. While he's a few months behind the car's official reveal, Jay Leno managed to get the only existing concept of the sports coupe wheeled into his garage to take a closer look, and he's pretty impressed.
Leno speaks with Alex Shen and William Chergosky, the exterior and interior chief designers of the FT-1 respectively, to get a better idea of the inspirations behind the concept. Jay heaps high praise on it for mixing Italian and Japanese design and says he likes the look even more than the Lexus LFA. The coupe isn't a product of either country, though. It was penned at Toyota's CALTY Design Research center in Newport Beach, CA.
The designers go into the entire history of the FT-1, and Shen even admits that Toyota design lacks an emotional factor at the moment. It's a fascinating interview behind some of the little touches you might miss at first glance. Unfortunately, the model doesn't have the green light for production yet and may never get made. In any case, scroll down to watch Leno swoon over the coupe.

Mazda-Toyota partnership has us dreaming of a rotary hybrid

Mon, Aug 7 2017

As you may have seen, Mazda and Toyota are going to be working a little more closely with each other. In their announcement, the two companies said they'd be building an American assembly plant together, and working on electric vehicle technology. But one of the companies' goals got our mental gears turning: It's listed as "Expand complementary products," and it's left very open-ended. The companies say they "will further explore the possibilities of other complementary products on a global level." These are in addition to Mazda providing the Mazda2 to Toyota as the Yaris iA, and Toyota providing Mazda a commercial van to sell in Japan. So what could these future complementary products be? We have a couple of ideas, one that's ludicrous but awesome (and, sadly, probably won't ever happen), and the other grounded in reality. Let's start with the fun one. What's the one thing Mazda fan has been wanting for years? A rotary sports car, of course! And while Mazda has repeatedly said that it has a small band of engineers plugging away at the spinning triangle problem, the odds of Mazda putting it into production have been slim. The inherent thirst of the rotary would make it tough to introduce when fuel economy regulations have been tightening. Plus, Mazda is a small company that needs to stretch every dollar, and having a one-off engine not based on anything else would be expensive. How could Mazda get around these obstacles? This is where the partnership with Toyota comes in, in our long-shot fantasy. Aside from having deep pockets, Toyota has a wealth of knowledge in the realm of hybrids. Thus, why not a rotary hybrid? Electrifying their oddball motor would fix two issues. One is obviously the fuel economy, since the gas engine wouldn't have to run all the time. The other is in providing torque. Rotaries infamously have little torque, especially down low, so adding an electric motor would allow this hypothetical rotary sports car to have a grunty low end, while still providing the Everest-high redline rotary fans like. The idea would be sweetened with the solid-state batteries that Toyota is developing, which could provide lots of electricity without weighing a ton. The rotary-electric mashup notion isn't totally alien to Mazda, either, since the company created an electric Mazda2 with a rotary engine for a range extender — albeit for different reasons. The company even filed a patent for the rotary range extender recently.

Santa swaps his sleigh for a Ferrari-powered Toyota

Fri, Dec 23 2016

A Ferrari-powered Toyota 86 is sure to garner a bit of attention, as well it should. We've been paying attention throughout this build, so it should be no surprise then that Santa did as well. He's ditched his red sleigh for the Gumout GT4586 in this video. If you've been following along, you know that Ryan Tuerck and Gumout built this completely bonkers machine that's far more exciting than some previous Japanese/Italian mash-up automobiles. Donut Media has been doing their part to document and promote every stage of the process. This new video is filled with the gratuitous amounts of lights, noise, and tire smoke that Donut is known for. We don't know the conversion from horsepower to reindeerpower, but the GT4586 should provide plenty of oomph for Santa's Christmas trek.
