Windshield wiper motor stopped working needs to be rebuilt. speedometer cable just broke. may need a water pump but works fine,has had a speratic noise since spring. This is not effecting anything,just wanted to mention it. Have hard top also but the inside metal work is poor,I have never used it. The tires are about 50 percent. when sitting the transmission will acquire a drip the size of a dime on the ground, other than that surprisingly no other leaks. The break return spring may need to be heavier because the break lights stay on periodically. other than being a choppie ride,it is fun and gets tons of thumbs up. ABSOLUTELY no smoke. shifts perfect.. drives great.. being a 1972.."

This is basically a custom hot rod the only thing Toyota is the body, frame, and front end. I have never taken this off road and has won its share of trophies at car shows. needs minor adjustments here and there being a 1972 vehicle.

Ryan Tuerck's Ferrari-powered Gumout GT4586 debuts at SEMA

Las Vegas is famous for its shotgun marriages, but the only Sin City nuptials we're interested in is the one officiated by Ryan Tuerck between a Toyota GT86 and the V8 engine from a Ferrari 458 Italia. The insane Gumout GT4586, as it's called, is probably one of the most well-known of the 2016 SEMA Show's stars, after video popped up showing the rear-drive Frankenstein firing up and spitting flames through its weird, front-mounted exhausts. The day after we published that video, which showed the GT86 in mostly bare frame, Gumout and Tuerck posted a second clip showing the Japanese-Italian coupe literally running rings around a 458 while wearing its sheetmetal and yellow-tinted headlights. The car's look in that second video carried over to the Las Vegas Convention Center floor, where the GT4586 showed up sans hood, ludicrously wide tires, and a huge wing and rear diffuser. I'm Adam Morath and this is your Autoblog Minute. Two of Toyota's plants are closed following the deadly explosions that hit the busy port city of Tianjin, China. The Associated Press reports over 100 people dead, hundreds injured and many still missing. According to the Japanese automaker 50 Toyota employees were injured in last weeks [00:00:30] event and they plan to shut down production in their Chinese plants until Wednesday. Various automakers were also affected, including Renault and Hyundai who claim a significant loss of vehicles.
