Hi you are viewing a super gorgeous 06 Toyota Corolla CE with only 67k on the vehicle. This auction is a NO RESERVE auction which means the highest bidder will be taking this gorgeous Toyota home. This Corolla is extra clean and it runs, drives and shifts great. The vehicle has been properly maintained. All filters were regularly changed and maintained as well. All round this is a great reliable car that will last you many years to come. It rides really smooth and everything works as it should. Also the Brakes are in great condition.

This Corolla is great on gas and gets up to 36MPG which is remarkable. It has a 1.8L, 4 Cylinder engine that is considered to be one of the best engines in the world. I personally know someone who has a Toyota Corolla with over 500k miles and it’s still running good.

This 2006 Toyota Corolla will come with a NY rebuilt title due to small damage to the front of the vehicle. The vehicle has been professionally repaired and looks like new again. Great job done on the work as this vehicle is back to factory specs and in great shape. The vehicle since underwent a New York State rigorous salvage program and passed. This is a serious exam that looks at every aspect of the vehicle. The vehicle was then issued the rebuilt title mentioned above which is as good as a clear title but will always have the salvage history.

PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU WILL NOT PAY!

I am pretty flexible with payment. Options include cash, wire transfer, bank check, personal check, money order, or a combination. Money is money and I am not picky what form it is in. However, I REQUIRE that payment be 100% paid / cleared / whatever before I release the vehicle and / or title to the buyer, no exceptions. I require a $500 deposit within 3 days of the auction's end. Vehicle will be relisted if deposit is not paid within 3 days or full payment/pickup is not made/arranged.

Shipping / Pickup

Local pickup is available. If not possible, shipping arrangements and costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. I can give you an approximate quote based on your location. Send me a message and I can give you a rough quote. I can also help buyer arrange shipping if they are unable to find a carrier, however, costs associated with shipping are still buyer's responsibility.

Feedback

Take note of my feedback. I have 100% feedback and I am very proud of this as this is not an easy thing to achieve. BID WITH CONFIDENCE. I strive to make my buyers happy with their transactions and you will NOT be disappointed.

Contact

Please ask all questions using the "Ask the seller a question" button. My name is Adam. I am one person and you will be dealing with me every time. I get emails forwarded to my phone and I can respond right away almost always.

Toyota and Mazda set to expand partnership

Mon, May 11 2015

Toyota and Mazda are already teaming up for the Scion iA and Mazda2, but that partnership might just be the beginning. Reuters reports the two Japanese companies could expand their work together, with Toyota chipping in its experience with both fuel cells and plug-in-hybrid tech, and Mazda contributing its know-how in regards to its Skyactiv line of engines. The report cites a pair of unnamed sources that are "not authorized to discuss the matter publicly." The move, on the surface, is certainly appealing for both parties. Mazda has very little experience with hybrids (remember the Ford-rebadged Tribute Hybrid?), let alone something as advanced as a fuel-cell vehicle. Teaming with Toyota, arguably the world's greatest hybrid manufacturer, would give it a serious leg up. For the Japanese giant, meanwhile, a partnership with Mazda could expand the economy of scale for the Mirai FCV's tech, while Skyactiv engines would do well in replacing the base engines in cars like the Corolla, Camry, and RAV4. What are your thoughts? Would an expanded partnership between Toyota and Mazda make sense? Can you think of any drawbacks? Have your say in Comments. Toyota calling for independent, industry-wide Takata airbag testing

Wed, Dec 3 2014

The initiative is still very new, and there's no set timeframe for this third-party testing to begin. With Takata's airbag inflator recall expanding nationwide soon, the scope of this safety campaign is only growing, and is set to affect millions of additional vehicles. Toyota thinks that it can help, though. The Japanese automaker has announced an initiative to get all of the affected companies to band together to fund independent, third-party testing of the faulty components. The goal of this work is to "ensure the inflators that require replacement are accurately identified and promptly fixed," according to Toyota. All of the data would be shared among the participating automakers to better understand the causes of these problems, which still aren't entirely known, and come up with the best way to repair the affected vehicles. "By combining our collective efforts behind a coordinated, comprehensive testing program, we believe we can achieve greater results. Together we will be better equipped to address this issue more rapidly for all customers," said Simon Nagata, President and CEO, Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing North America, in the company's release. According to Toyota spokesperson Cindy Knight speaking to Autoblog, the initiative is still very new, and there's no set timeframe for this third-party testing to begin. The automaker's first step is simply getting the word out that it's looking for partners. She said Toyota "has spoken with colleagues in the industry" about setting up the independent evaluations and specifically said the company has already reached out to Honda and Ford about possibly working together on this. Honda also released a statement calling for similar third party testing, and when reached for comment about Toyota's proposal, Ford spokesperson Kelli Felker responded: "Ford takes the safety of our customers very seriously. We plan to join the proposed industry wide effort to investigate and develop solutions to address this critical issue. We look forward to discussing next steps with NHTSA and other automakers." Toyota donates engineers, not money, to country's largest anti-hunger charity

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

Key to production of any kind is efficiency - the ability to achieve maximum productivity with minimal effort or waste. Toyota has become a master of efficiency, with streamlined manufacturing operations around the world. In fact, the Japanese brand has become so well known for efficient operations that it now offers consulting services for organizations and companies outside the auto industry.
It also offers the same consulting for non-profits, free of charge. The New York Times took an in-depth look at the transformative impact that Toyota's engineers had on the city's charities, including The Food Bank, the country's largest anti-hunger charity. The auto manufacturer helped revolutionize the way these organizations served the community, showing that there's more to corporate philanthropy than just donating money.
Head on over to the Times' website and give the story a read.
