2011 Toyota Avalon Limited Sedan 4-door 3.5l on 2040-cars
Sierra Vista, Arizona, United States

2011 Toyota Avalon Limited with Navigation, Remote Start, and remainder of Toyota Platinum 8 year 75,000 mile transferable warranty. Carefully driven 8,760 miles since new. Vehicle appears and functions as new in all respects. The reasons we are selling our Avalon Limited is that we have not driven in at all since we purchased a 2013 Toyota RAV4 Limited 14 months ago, and we are buying a new home and need some cash for the down payment. I replaced the battery in the Avalon yesterday (6/7/2014) because it had sulfated and died from sitting. The new battery carries a 2 year free replacement / 5 year limited warranty. If you want a beautiful low mileage Avalon Limited with full warranty (Toyota's Platinum Warranty is bumper to bumper except for cosmetic items and normal wear items) and the savings of not having to pay sales tax, this is the car for you. When you check the value of the car don't forget that this car has the dealer installed genuine Toyota Remote Start. It doesn't appear in the book but cost $600 to install. And the Toyota Platinum Warranty which will cover the car from bumper to bumper for the next 4 years or until the odometer reaches 75,000 miles. A PayPal deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of purchase. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. The vehicle will not leave my possession until funds have cleared. If you have a feedback score of less than 10 please contact me before buying. Thanks. Phil (520) 458-7712 |

Supra successor may be all-electric sourced from Tesla; MR2 returning too?
Wed, 14 Nov 2012Rumors of a revival of the Toyota Supra and MR2 have been swirling for years right up until just this week when high-level Toyota employees all but confirmed their return.
But now The Detroit Bureau has put together news from different sources suggesting that the next Supra might be all electric. The report cites recent comments from Toyota senior executives hinting at plans to work with Tesla on a new joint project. The FT-HS Concept (shown above) seems a logical inspiration for a new Supra.
And on the other side of the equation is Tesla's design chief Franz von Holzhausen who was quoted last year saying his company was looking at its next project, probably a sports car, that would follow next year's intro of the Model X. He went on to suggest the car would compete directly with BMW's 3 Series, which, in coupe form, could be a worthy competitor to a Supra as well.
Autotrader picks best cars for 2015's college grads
Sun, May 31 2015Summer is here and the school season is winding to a close. That means millions of students will be graduating college and (hopefully) entering the workforce. For many, that will mean buying a new car suited to the new stage in life into which they will now be embarking. That can be a bewildering choice, especially for someone who's never bought a car before. Fortunately, Autotrader has come up with a short list of recommended cars – new and used – which it recommends to the graduating class of 2015. Among the site's top choices are some compelling crossovers and hatchbacks, including the Buick Encore, Chevy Trax, and Jeep Renegade, as well as the Honda Fit, Nissan Versa Note, Mazda3 and Fiat 500. Can't stretch to buying new, or don't see the point? Autotrader has also identified the Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion and even the Lexus IS as smart buys in the certified pre-owned category. "Any time someone goes through a major life change, such as graduating college, they need to determine if their current ride makes sense for their lifestyle, from both a financial and functional perspective," says Autotrader editor Brian Moody. "For example, while that hand-me-down SUV from your parents was nice when you turned 16, you may want to opt for a safer, more fuel-efficient car as you transition into the working world." Autotrader Names 10 Best Cars for Recent College Graduates ATLANTA, May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- For many, graduating college is a milestone like no other – it represents a new chapter, a proud accomplishment and, fortunately or unfortunately, financial independence. Luckily for graduates who are in the market for a new car to suit their post-college lifestyle, Autotrader's expert editors say now is a great time to make a purchase, as dealerships are flush with affordable models that are fun, fuel-efficient and thoughtfully designed. Toyota RAV4 EV lease gets cut in half to $299/month
Tue, 27 Aug 2013If you're in the market for a new electric vehicle, now is definitely the time to buy or lease. Following price drops on just about every other EV on the market, Toyota is looking to push a few more all-electric RAV4 crossovers out the door over the Labor Day weekend. The Detroit News is reporting that, through September 3, anyone looking to get into a RAV4 EV in Los Angeles or San Francisco, can get a deal: a $299 a month lease (no word on down payment, though) or zero-percent financing for 60 months for buyers.
The $49,800 RAV4 EV normally leases for twice as much - $599 a month - so this move could be an attempt to sell more of the 2,600 units Toyota has planned to produce. Or maybe, if you thought $599 was a fair price, you can now get two RAV4 Evs. Although temporary, the price drop comes at a time when many other EVs on the market have had their prices reduced, including the Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, Smart Fortwo ED and Honda Fit EV, not to mention already low prices for the Fiat 500e and Chevy Spark EV.
