2014 Tundra SR5 TRD double cab long bed with matching ARI cap. Cap has LED Lighting, sliding windows and screen.
This vehicle has a 100k mile extended power train warranty through Toyota and the balance of that warranty will be
transferred to the new owner upon purchase! Odometer shows 85,642 in picture, but vehicle will be driven daily
until newly ordered vehicle arrives. Vehicle oil and services always done on time. The bed of the truck has a spray
lining on it. Hitch with brake controller installed in vehicle. 4x4 with shiftable console mounted shifter, vehicle
has Power window, door locks, W/Alarm on fob. Both driver and passenger sides have weather tech mats, rain
deflectors and bug deflector. Truck was specially ordered with 836 special engine package only available in several
states from Toyota. Truck also had anti-sway bar Toyota TRD installed. Truck has minor scratches, two noticeable
dents the size of a nickel on either side of truck and some road rash on the front grill area. Vehicle spent 95%
of time up and down interstates at 2000 RPM. Overall for the mileage it's a 9 out of a 10! Tires have about 23k on
them. The only reason why I'm selling the truck is to buy a dually. Awesome vehicle for those long trips with all
your toys.

Toyota sizzle reel gives better look at i-Road Geneva concept

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

Toyota is taking the tiny tandem Tango to Tron town. In a teaser video for the new i-Road, debuting at the Geneva Motor Show next week, we catch a light-bike-like glimpse of Toyota's quirky tandem-seat concept. We still don't know much about the vehicle itself, but the video does flash the words "fun, compact, emissions-free," which suggests this is an electric ride. Then comes the apparent tagline: "i Roll, i Rock i Road." An indication that the tilting image we see in the video isn't just a special effect, perhaps? We'll have to wait until we get to Switzerland next week to find out. Until then, you can watch the video below.
In more earthly reveals, Toyota will also show off its hotly anticipate FT-86 Open sports car concept and Auris Touring Sports wagon on its Geneva show stand.

Toyota donates engineers, not money, to country's largest anti-hunger charity

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

Key to production of any kind is efficiency - the ability to achieve maximum productivity with minimal effort or waste. Toyota has become a master of efficiency, with streamlined manufacturing operations around the world. In fact, the Japanese brand has become so well known for efficient operations that it now offers consulting services for organizations and companies outside the auto industry.
It also offers the same consulting for non-profits, free of charge. The New York Times took an in-depth look at the transformative impact that Toyota's engineers had on the city's charities, including The Food Bank, the country's largest anti-hunger charity. The auto manufacturer helped revolutionize the way these organizations served the community, showing that there's more to corporate philanthropy than just donating money.
Head on over to the Times' website and give the story a read.

2014 Toyota Tundra Platinum 4x4

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

The Toyota Tundra is the automotive version of off-brand Cheerios: it doesn't dominate the market, and it's not the first model people think of when they hear the term "pickup truck."
Ford, General Motors and Ram dominate the segment with vehicles that offer ridiculous levels of towing and payload capacities and models loaded with luxury items and primed with tech-rich engines. The off-brands, meanwhile, are led by the Tundra, which while still accounting for six-figure sales (112,732 units in 2013, up from 101,621 in 2012), sits well behind the F-150s and Silverados of the world. After our first drive of the revamped 2014 Tundra, we came away thinking this truck is a total underachiever, aimed at placating Toyota loyalists and doing little to win over new customers.
But everybody deserves a second chance, and we thought a week's drive in a different environment might lead to a different - or at least a more fully realized - opinion. While the Tundra might not be an industry leader, it still makes it on many truck buyers' shopping lists. So, should you consider this off-brand pickup truck? To find out, we borrowed a top-of-the-line Tundra Platinum for a week. Read on to see what we found.
