This is a 2008 Toyota Tundra Limited with a long list of features. This truck is a super clean and one of a kind showpiece. It has been meticulously maintained in every way. It has a 3" leveling kit giving it a perfect stance when matched up to the brand new Eagle Alloy 197 in 18x9 and wrapped in Brand New Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac LT275/70R18 tires (33"). The paint is an absolute thing of beauty with not so much as scratch or chip. It is a custom two tone with neutral colors giving it that ultra clean look, but without the "loud" colors. Its is Slate Gray on the bottom, and Cashmere on top with a House of Kolor Gold Marblizer stripe wrapped in black seperating the two. Everything is painted with no decals, and no paint lines. Paint is all DuPont with plenty of clear to give it that deep wet look, then it was wet sanded flat taking away any paint lines or stripe lines. The engine is the very powerful i-force 5.7 V-8, mated up to the 6 speed automatic transmission, and turn knob 4x4 transfer case. The Light mocha leather interior is in near perfect condition, and is the rest of the interior, carpet, and headliner. Creature comforts of the limited include power seats with Heated Leather, power windows including the rear roll down glass, power locks, power tilt/telescopic wheel, steering wheel controls for radio, power moon roof, back up sensors, mirror blinkers, and center shift center console. There is a Toyota bed liner in the bed as well. The only bad part of the truck is the small repaired crack in the drivers mirror as shown in the pictures that does not affect folding, adjustment, or blinker in any way, only cosmetic. This is a beautiful truck that anyone would be proud to own and drive. Truck runs, and drives perfect, and 4x4 works as it should. Truck is located in Central Michigan and I can help to arrange shipping to the continental U.S. at buyers expense. A $1000.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction closing via paypal, and balance is due within 7 days unless previously arranged. I will be happy to answer any questions, or send more detailed pictures of any part as requested.

Toyota to shock with Supra concept for Detroit Auto Show?

Fri, 06 Dec 2013

We've written about approximately 187,000 rumors about a return of the Toyota Supra to the land of living cars. There are a couple of good reasons for this: first, Toyota won't stop dropping hints about a new halo sports car. Late this summer, Toyota sales guru Kazuo Ohara called a Supra successor "one of the options we have" - a comment followed by a hint that there would be "better news" on the subject in the future.
The second reason for all the Toyota tales is, of course, that we all have missed the Supra since its departure from the US market in 1998. So, when a member of the Autoblog team is party to a nudge-and-wink-filled conversation about a new Supra concept headed to January's Detroit Auto Show, we tend to listen up.
A 400+ horsepower hybrid sports car would match up pretty well with the upcoming NSX.

Toyota engineer warns automous cars could increase fuel use, urban sprawl

Fri, 18 Jul 2014

An increasing number of people are starting to consider the potential downsides of a transition to autonomous cars. The FBI is already looking at them for the potential ill effects on law enforcement, and a scientist for Toyota is raising the possibility that driverless vehicles could actually be detrimental to the environment over the long term.
Ken Laberteaux, who studies future transportation for Toyota, thinks that autonomous cars could lead to more pollution, not less, says Bloomberg. However, Laberteaux's theory isn't so much based purely on science as it is considering behavioral and historical trends. "US history shows that anytime you make driving easier, there seems to be this inexhaustible desire to live further from things," said Laberteaux during a presentation at the Automated Vehicles Symposium in San Francisco, CA, cited by Bloomberg.
Laberteaux's belief is that if commuters can make their drives easier, then they will be more willing to live farther away from the cities where they work. The end result would be more urban sprawl and increased pollution from the longer travel times.

We drive the cars of Furious 7... in Forza Horizon 2 [w/video]

Thu, Apr 9 2015

On March 27, Turn 10 Studios, the folks behind the Forza Motorsport series, and Universal Pictures, the studio responsible for the Fast and Furious franchise, gave us a match made in heaven, announcing a "standalone expansion" featuring the two franchises. Called Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast and Furious, it features the cars from the latest film installment, unique missions and the voice-acting of Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, who plays tech guru Tej Parker on camera. A Fast and Furious video game? Seems like a no brainer. It gets better. Rather than limiting the Fast and Furious Edition cars to the expansion game, Turn 10 made them available through one of their (some may say notorious) downloadable content packages. Eight of the expansion's 11 cars were made available for just $4.99 (the only cars that weren't included were the Fast and Furious Edition Nissan GT-R, while the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and McLaren P1 are already available in-game). What's cool ais that the cars featured in both games are visually identical to the vehicles driven by the stars of Furious 7. Each in-game car has an on-screen parallel that plays a role in advancing the film's story. Considering that we're unlikely to score seat time in Dominic Toretto's real Dodge Charger, then, we figured we'd take to the game and test the car in the digital realm. We've got nine little cluster reviews, covering the cars both in the game and how they appear in the movies. And don't worry, there are no major spoilers here. Click on for the cars of Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast and Furious. 1970 Dodge Charger R/T Fast and Furious Edition Supercharged 7.2L V8 / 900 HP / 663 LB-FT The one vehicle that is mandatory in a Fast and Furious video game, Dom's hot-rodded 1970 Dodge Charger, is as much a character in the films as its driver. Furious 7 marks the fourth appearance of this Mopar beast in the series. Not surprisingly it's a handful to drive, wildly quick and with a four-speed transmission packed full of very tall gears. But beyond that, it's arguably the coolest of the FF Edition cars. This black beauty is exactly as it appears in the latest installment of the film, with the video game version featuring intricate little details, like the moving parts on the BDS supercharger. It's an iconic car, and it's treated as such in the game.
