HELLO, I AM HAPPY YOU STOPPED BY TO CHECK ME OUT. I AM QUITE MODEST, SO I WILL BE BRIEF.
MY NAME IS SUPRA, FROM THE FAMILY OF TOYOTA. I WAS BORN IN JAPAN IN 1989, AND SHIPPED TO THE GOOD OLE USA.
AS YOU EXAMINE MY SLEEK WHITE BOD, YOU WILL NOTICE THAT ONE OF MY PREVIOUS OWNERS GAVE ME PAINT JOB, AND I AM STILL LOOKING FRESH, AND FREE OF RUST, AND DINGS. LOOK AT MY BLUE INTERIOR, THE CRUSHED VELOUR SEATS, AND THE CARPETING, ARE NOT TORN, OR HAVE WORN OUT AREAS. UNFORTUNATELY MY ARMREST NEEDS SOME ATTENTION.
I HAVE A FEW APPETIZING OPTIONS SUCH AS, AC, AM/FM/CASSETTE RADIO, TILT WHEEL, CRUISE CONTROL, POWER WINDOWS, LOCKS, AND SEATS.
MY ODOMETER SHOWS 250,570, BUT MY CURRENT OWNER RECENTLY SERVICED MY HEADGASKET, CHANGED MY OIL, AND TUNED ME UP. I FEEL LIKE A YOUNG GIRL AGAIN, WITH A STRONG ENGINE, AND TRANSMISSION THAT SHIFTS SMOOTHLY AND EFFICIENTLY THROUGH ALL THE GEARS. IN ADDITION I AM VERY STEADY AT HIGHWAY SPEED, AND I AM READY TO GO MANY MORE MILES.
LOOK AT MY FEET, AND YOU SEE THAT MY 4 UNSCUFFED TOYOTA ALLOYS ARE NICELY WRAPPED AROUND BY 4 FAIRLY MEATY BRIDGESTONE TIRES.
I WILL BE WAITING FOR YOU, BECAUSE I HAVE NO RESERVE.
TRANSPORTATION AND WARRANTIES ARE AVAILABLE AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE.
THERE IS A $150.00 PROCESSING FEE ADDED TO THE FINAL BID PRICE.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION AT ANY TIME.
IF YOU HAVE A ZERO FEEDBACK, OR RECENTLY SIGNED UP WITH EBAY WITHIN THE LAST 60 DAYS, PLEASE CONTACT JOHN AT 804-347-1856 BEFORE BIDDING.

2023 Japan Mobility Show Editors' Picks
Tue, Oct 31 2023No, it's no longer called the Tokyo Motor Show, but the Japan Mobility Show is still in Tokyo and it still has to do with motors. In fact, with the rise of EVs, it's more of a motor show than ever before. And there were an astounding number of motors (and engines) to see, or at least concepts that hypothetically have them. Truly, we haven't seen a turnout this amazing since before the pandemic. As such, the 2023 Japan Mobility Show featured plenty of machines that could, and did, snag points from our editors. And yet, even with the massive field, one car, unequivocally, stole our hearts. Read on to see our favorites.  Toyota Land Cruiser Se concept View 4 Photos 5. (Tie) Toyota Land Cruiser Se While this concept is not quite the off-roader that the Land Cruiser is known to be, a street-focused electric SUV seems like a fine fit for the Toyota portfolio. It's hard to imagine we won't see an electric Land Cruiser come to production one day, filling out that as-yet underrepresented three-row EV segment. Give us an even more rugged version, and we'll be happy — Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder  Subaru Sport Mobility Concept View 7 Photos 5. (Tie) Subaru Sport Mobility I'm still waiting for a fun, electric sport coupe, and as much as I enjoy the likes of the rear-drive BRZ, I could have some serious fun in something like this all-wheel-drive Subaru Sport Mobility year round. I could fill that hole in my heart left by my '04 WRX. — Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder  Toyota EPU concept View 4 Photos 4. Toyota EPU You know what I like? Useful, funky little vehicles. The Ford Maverick and Hyundai Santa Cruz fit that bill well, and it seems a lot of other people like them, too, based on demand. You know what I also like? EVs. You know what combines those two things? The Toyota EPU. Assuming it was priced fairly reasonably (well below $40,000 is what I'm thinking), I would seriously be looking at getting one. I also seriously hope that Toyota's seriously looking at launching this, because it seems like a seriously great package. Seriously. — News Editor Joel Stocksdale  Mitsubishi D:X Concept View 8 Photos 3. Mitsubishi D:X Concept We sure do wish Mitsubishi sold the Delica here in the United States. We've long been fans of the van, which initially was sold in rear-wheel-drive form but adopted four-wheel drive in the early 1980s, and judging by the numbers we see imported to the States, we're not the only ones.
J.D. Power study identifies top seats for your tush
Tue, Aug 29 2017File under News your fanny can use: The seating systems in the Ford Escape and Edge, the Audi A3, Chevrolet Cruze, Kia Cadenza, Porsche Cayenne and Toyota Tundra received top marks in a new J.D. Power study on seating and seat belt quality and satisfaction. The J.D. Power 2017 Seat Quality and Satisfaction Study asked more than 77,000 new owners and lessees of 2017 model-year cars and light trucks to rate their vehicle's seats and seat belts within the first 90 days of taking ownership. The survey is broken up into seven vehicle segments and scored on total seat problems per 100 within each segment, with awards presented to the seating system supplier. Canadian auto supplier Magna won three of seven first-place awards for its seating systems in the A3, Escape and Edge. Ireland-based Adient got top marks for its seats in the Cadenza and Cayenne. Lear Corp. won for the Cruze, and Avanzar Interior Technologies scored highest for seats in the Tundra. J.D. Power says its study is intended for automakers and suppliers with quality and satisfaction information to be used in developing and marketing seating systems. "But the results are just as interesting to a consumer audience," the company says. "After all, some drivers spend a considerable amount of time behind the wheel, and it's helpful to know which vehicles offer the most comfortable seats for those long commutes." Ain't that the truth. Ford was the only automaker whose seat systems, both manufactured by Magna, received top honors in two segments: the Escape for mass-market compact SUV and the Edge for mass-market midsize/large SUV. J.D. Power says it used 22 attributes to measure seat quality, three measures of seat belt quality and 12 to measure satisfaction. Awards were presented to the seating suppliers. Toyota investing $200M in Southern manufacturing
Sun, 23 Jun 2013Over the past two years, Toyota has invested more than $2 billion at its North American production facilities, and it apparently doesn't plan on stopping there. To keep up with recent strong sales, Toyota is investing an additional $200 million at its engine plants in the Southern US to increase production capacity of its V6 engines.
The bulk of this money ($150 million) will go to expand Toyota's engine plant in Huntsville, AL, which is currently responsible for supplying engines - four-cylinder, V6 and V8 - to eight of Toyota's 12 domestically produced vehicles. That includes the best-selling Toyota Camry (shown above).
Toyota didn't say exactly what improvements are being made to the plant, but this follows last year's $80 million investment in the plant that is set to be completed by next year raising the engine capacity to 750,000 annual units including 362,000 V6s. The remaining $50 million will go to the casting plants of Toyota-owned Bodine Aluminum in Missouri and Tennessee, which supply engine blocks and cylinder heads to the Huntsville engine plant as well as others in Kentucky and West Virginia. Scroll down below for the official press release.
