> Im selling a 1968 fj land cruiser classic off road ready.this fj has a power winch,32in tires ready for some fun off road or on the beach.ThisToyota land cruiser has rarely seen the ocean,we usually take it up to the mountains, but since we live on a private beach we thought it will be cool to take some pics in front of our house. Also are Fj cruiser has always been garage kept.So from what i know Toyota developed its first generation land cruiser in the early 1950's, so when im looking at my 1968 it really hasn't change that much since the 50's,i guess thats the response to the growing demand for military-style four wheel-drive vehicles in Japan. Its resemblance to the old school willy jeep.Thats why I think that the Fj cruiser is the second generation of the willy jeep and after doing some research in 1960 and 1965 it was the best selling Toyota in the U.S.The Fj has achieved quite a following in the 50 years since its introduction thanks to iconic design and incredible off road capabilities. This Fj is no exception with its off road suspension, big tires and body armor it's ready to do big things in the mountains,on the beach,on trails, and even snow.Sometimes I feel like I'm driving a tank just cruising the streets, watching the heads turn, for that reason you would want to buy this Fj cruiser.ThisToyota land cruiser with rare factory hard top was manufactured towards the end of 1968.Also this Fj land cruiser is very fast and very powerful, its equiped with a 350 rebuild top to bottom.the straight 6 cylinder was ok,but I wanted more power. All the lights and gauges work as they should, the transfer case works flawlessly in high and low range, there is one extra hole drilled into the dash for extra uses. Heater and all vents work as they should. Also has custom artwork on the top of the jeep with a California Bear logo, and I can't tell you how many times the park ranger has seen me high in the sky in his helicopter.he said"yeah I know who you are,I seen your jeep from up top.And the same thing with the lifegauards since we live in a small town, they'll see us later or on the weekend and say" I know your jeep from the top".If you have any questions please email us.

Toyota highlights JDM Mark X with special Yellow Label edition
Fri, 05 Sep 2014Never heard of the Toyota Mark X? That's because the Japanese automaker only sells it in its home market (and in China as the Reiz). It's a rear-drive (or all-wheel-drive) sports sedan about the size of a Lexus IS, whose existence is probably why Toyota will never bring the Mark X to North America. The current model has been on the market since 2009, but Toyota is rolling out a series of updates - including the new Yellow Label model pictured here.
Available on the 250G, 250G Four and 250G S trim levels, the Yellow Label gets a special shade of Awaken Yellow paint (though it can be had in black, white or silver as well), with an interior decked out in either yellow or black. It also gets piano lacquer trim, yellow stitching, pink gold accents, special tread plates and other interior equipment upgrades, as well as a unique set of alloys. All of which makes the Toyota Mark X Yellow Label perfect for recreating scenes from Kill Bill without the need to squeeze into yellow leathers. (In fact we wouldn't be surprised to see Toyota doing just that for a promo clip.)
Power comes from a 2.5-liter V6 (and not the larger 3.5 available on the 350S model) channeled through a six-speed automatic to either the rear wheels or all four. Pricing ranges between 2.8 and 3.1 million yen (~$26-30k), representing a premium of about 106k yen ($1k) over non-yellow models. Toyota operates four distinct dealer networks in Japan, and the Mark X is sold through Toyopet stores.
GM might lose 90-year U.S. sales crown over chip shortage
Sat, Oct 2 2021Automotive News editor Nick Bunkley tweeted on October 1 that according to AutoNews data, General Motors "has been the largest seller of vehicles in the U.S. every year since passing Ford in 1931." With automakers having turned in light car and truck sales data for the first three quarters of 2021, GM's 90-year-run might not reach 91. According to AN figures, Toyota was 80,401 vehicles ahead when the October workday started. Worse, GM is so far behind its historic pace that it might only sell enough light vehicles in the U.S. to match its numbers from 1958. Meanwhile, the New York Times put a few more salient numbers to the pain GM and Toyota are enduring alongside the the rest of the industry. GM sold 33% fewer cars in Q3 2021 than it did in Q3 2019 during the dark days of the pandemic, 446,997 units this year as opposed to 665,192 last year. GM's Q3 2020 was only down 13% on Q3 2019. Over at Toyota, the bottom line showed a 1% gain in Q3 2021 compared to 2020, with 566,005 units moved off dealer lots. The finer numbers show two steps forward and one step back, though; Toyota's September sales were down 22% compared to last year. GM remains optimistic about what's ahead, GM's president of North American operations telling the NYT, "We look forward to a more stable operating environment through the fall." We'd like to see that happen, but we don't know how it happens. The chip shortage said to have been the inciting incident for the current woes isn't over, and not only can no one agree when it will be over, the automakers, chip producers, and U.S. government still can't get on the same page about who needs what and when. Looking away from that for a second shows articles about "No End In Sight" for supply chain disruptions in early September, before China had to start working through power supply constraints, global supply chain workers started warning of a "system collapse," and roughly 500,000 containers sat waiting to be unloaded at Southern California ports — a record number seemingly broken every week. And back to chips, we're told just a few days ago the chip shortage is "worse than we thought."  For now, the NYT wrote that GM dealer inventory is down 40% from June to roughly 129,000 vehicles, and down 84% from the days when dealers would cumulatively keep about 800,000 light vehicles in stock. However, GM just announced it would have almost all of its U.S. facilities back online next week, although some would run at partial capacity.
