This is a very well taken care of FJ Cruiser.
I am the original owner. I purchased it from Toyota of Rockwall. (Great Dealership and service department by the
way)
I pretty much just used it to commute back and forth from the airport. Thats why it has very few miles on it.
Other than that it was kept inside my shop so the paint is in as bright of condition as the day I bought it.

I hate to even say it but I never even got the chance to take it off road. )-:

I purchased the "Toyota Care" package with it so Toyota has performed all service / maintenance on this FJ. In fact
I just ran it through there last week and had them go ahead and do the 40K routine maintenance even though it only
has 24K miles on it. It is also still under warranty. it came with a 60 month / 75,000 mile warranty.

This FJ is as clean as they come. I tried to take as many pictures as I could to really give you an idea of how
clean it is. Hopefully you can zoom in on them and see.

I actually walked every inch of the entire vehicle to find any imperfections.
I found a small scratch on the corner of the hood. a small scratch on the corner of the drivers side front bumper
and a small nick on the back corner of the bumper, drivers side. When I say small I mean like smaller than a pea.
Typical stuff for almost any vehicle. If you zoom in on those areas in the photos you might be able to see them but
they are pretty hard to see. I just wanted to make sure I mentioned them.

Came with all the bells and whistles, 11 speaker JBL sound system, compass, power locks, brakes, auto, HF, cruise,
Back up camera, Factory Roof rack, etc, etc, etc.

I truly think it would be pretty tough to find a cleaner FJ that was taken care of as well as this one.

Toyota investing $200M in Southern manufacturing

Sun, 23 Jun 2013

Over the past two years, Toyota has invested more than $2 billion at its North American production facilities, and it apparently doesn't plan on stopping there. To keep up with recent strong sales, Toyota is investing an additional $200 million at its engine plants in the Southern US to increase production capacity of its V6 engines.
The bulk of this money ($150 million) will go to expand Toyota's engine plant in Huntsville, AL, which is currently responsible for supplying engines - four-cylinder, V6 and V8 - to eight of Toyota's 12 domestically produced vehicles. That includes the best-selling Toyota Camry (shown above).
Toyota didn't say exactly what improvements are being made to the plant, but this follows last year's $80 million investment in the plant that is set to be completed by next year raising the engine capacity to 750,000 annual units including 362,000 V6s. The remaining $50 million will go to the casting plants of Toyota-owned Bodine Aluminum in Missouri and Tennessee, which supply engine blocks and cylinder heads to the Huntsville engine plant as well as others in Kentucky and West Virginia. Toyota to shock with Supra concept for Detroit Auto Show?

Fri, 06 Dec 2013

We've written about approximately 187,000 rumors about a return of the Toyota Supra to the land of living cars. There are a couple of good reasons for this: first, Toyota won't stop dropping hints about a new halo sports car. Late this summer, Toyota sales guru Kazuo Ohara called a Supra successor "one of the options we have" - a comment followed by a hint that there would be "better news" on the subject in the future.
The second reason for all the Toyota tales is, of course, that we all have missed the Supra since its departure from the US market in 1998. So, when a member of the Autoblog team is party to a nudge-and-wink-filled conversation about a new Supra concept headed to January's Detroit Auto Show, we tend to listen up.
A 400+ horsepower hybrid sports car would match up pretty well with the upcoming NSX.

Toyota's Lentz says fuel cells are the future, not EVs

Sun, 25 May 2014

Toyota is not bullish on EVs. That comes from the company's North American CEO, Jim Lentz, who said the company will focus not on electrification, but on continued hybridization with a long-term focus on hydrogen fuel cells.
Lentz questioned the long-range ability of EVs, saying that Toyota feels "there are better alternatives, such as hybrids and plug-in hybrids, and tomorrow with fuel cells." Lentz spoke about Toyota's focus on hydrogen following Forbes Brainstorm Green conference and barely a week after a battery deal between Tesla and Toyota ended, according to Automotive News.
That deal provided for 2,500 battery packs for the Rav4 EV. While valuable to Toyota, the deal "was never about open-ended volume," Lentz said. "It was time to either continue or stop. My personal feeling was that I would rather invest my dollars in fuel cell development than in another 2,500 EVs."
