Hi there,
Welcome to the auction of my toyota celica sports. This is not a normal vvti celica which you would find alot on the net. This is a vvtli model with 189 horsepower. This is a very beloved car and has been maintained very well regardless of the cost. I have spent alot of money in giving it the looks by putting some alloys, low profile tyres, fog lights, exhaust, sports suspension springs and alot more.
I have had this car for around two years now and have been servicing it regularly. The works i have done on it are:-
- Front back brake pads changed
- Front discs changed
- Radiator changed
- Tyres changed
- Complete clutch assembly changed

This car is a performance car and drives like anything without any shakes or noises. The sound is very nice because of the exhaust and the road grip as well is very impressive because of the broad tyres. It has the central locking working and all the buttons are working just the way they should. It has no lights on in the meter and no rips or scuffs to the interior. The exterior as well is in perfect shiny condition except the driver side wing which has a small dent without any paint damage and its hardly even noticeable.

The only bad point about this car is that the head gasket has gone and it needs a replacement. I have parked it for two months in my garden just waiting for some time to get it fixed but now as i am shifting so i would not have space to park it and the tax is going out by 31st of this month thats why i am thinking i better let it go to someone who would take good care of it. I still drive it on weekends just inside my area as it heats up after 10-15 mins of drive so its not completely dead.

The engine is very healthy and has alot of life left. The MOT is till february 2014 but it would fly through the MOT test as it has no smoke or leakage or any other problem.

I guess thats enough for now. Thanks for still reading and happy bidding with .99p start.
Any further questions? Contact on 07947764996. If in case i do not pick up plz leave a text i will get back.  Thanks

Recharge Wrap-up: Toyota FCV wears silver, Foxconn's $15K EV, solar power at GM

Mon, Jun 30 2014

The Toyota FCV made its North American debut at the 2014 Aspen Ideas Festival, and this time it's not sporting its usual blue sheet metal. This silver paint job shows a bit more contrast. Certain features stand out a bit more, especially the black strip that wraps around the grille and down the sides of the hood to the mirrors. This is the production version of the car's exterior, which will go on sale in California next summer. Toyota also had its Driver Awareness Research Vehicle, DARV 1.5, on display in Aspen. DARV 1.5 uses technology to decrease driver distraction and measure driver behavior to provide a safe driving score. See more of both cars in our image gallery. Taiwan's Hon Hai Precision Industry (also know as FoxConn Technology Group) says it is planning to build electric cars that will cost just $15,000, according to The China Post. The world's largest electronics maker, which assembles mobile devices for Apple, promises that the cars will be highly connected. "When integrated with cloud computing, the Internet, smart traffic and smart cities in the future, people will be able to drive more easily and reduce car accidents more efficiently," says Hon Hai chairman Terry Gou. At a shareholder's meeting, Gou didn't comment on production timing or other details about the cars, nor would he answer questions about possible cooperation with Tesla Motors. Hon Hai made headlines in recent years after a series of employee suicides, which led the company to raise worker wages and install anti-suicide netting on its buildings. EV advocates in Illinois took a 500-mile road trip to help temper range anxiety in potential buyers, says the Chicago Tribune. The demonstration, organized by the Illinois Green Economy Network, meant to show people that they can use electric vehicles to drive long distances without getting stranded with a dead battery. The drive began near Carbondale and traveled to 11 different community colleges with charging stations before terminating in Grayslake. Illinois has about 5,000 registered electric vehicles, and 450 public and private charging stations. General Motors is building three acres of new solar arrays to produce an expected 400,000 kilowatt-hours of renewable energy per year. The new arrays at GM's Swartz Creek processing center and Flint engine plant will be completed this fall, contributing to the company's 38 megawatts of solar power from facilities around the world.

US-built Corollas will soon be exported to Latin America, Caribbean

Sun, 29 Sep 2013

Toyota has announced plans to export the American-made Corolla south, to 18 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean by 2014. The move follows statements made to The Wall Street Journal by Toyota's South American leader, Steve St. Angelo, that spoke to Toyota's resolve in emerging American markets.
Toyota is expected to begin export production in April, with initial production of 7,500 Corollas in the first year, courtesy of its Tupelo, Mississippi assembly plant. Years of unpredictable swings in the value of the Japanese yen has seen Toyota push its manufacturing operations in other countries, particularly the US, where its builds ten different models.

Lexus Eco Challenge rewards schools for clean water, briquette press projects

Fri, Feb 28 2014

Teams from one New Jersey high school and one Michigan middle school reversed the old adage by thinking locally and acting globally. And that strategy won them the grand prizes in the most recent edition of the Lexus Eco Challenge. The future is indeed bright. The Toyota luxury-vehicle division gave out a half-million dollars in this year's contest. One $30,000 grand prize was awarded to the Pinelands Eco Scienteers from Little Egg Harbor, NJ, which produced and distributed low-cost briquette presses to rural villages beset by deforestation. The other grand prize went to the E.T. Electrical Team from Byron Center West Middle School in Michigan. That middle-school group raised money to send water filters to Haiti, Kenya and the Philippines. Lexus also awarded eight $15,000 first-place awards, with the winners including high schools from California, Florida, Missouri and Pennsylvania as well as middle schools from Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina and Texas. A special shout out goes to Daniel Boone Area High School in Birdsboro, PA, where students created an educational and public-relations campaign to publicize algae-based biofuels. In all, Lexus has doled out more than $4 million in Eco Challenge awards in seven years. Check out Lexus's press release below. Students Get Dollars and Sense in Lexus Eco Challenge - $500,000 Awarded to Teams Who Learn About Environment and Community Empowerment Two Grand Prize Teams Earn $30,000 Eight $15,000 First Place Awards Given to Innovative High School and Middle School Teams Students Bring Ideas to a Larger Audience and Make a Positive Impact on the World TORRANCE, Calif., (Feb. 24, 2014) – It's a win, win situation! Communities become a better place, and students, teachers and schools have the chance to share $500,000 in scholarships and grants through the Lexus Eco Challenge. This year, the $30,000 Grand Prize winners are the Pinelands Eco Scienteers from Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey, and the E.T. Electrical Team from Byron Center, Michigan. The Lexus Eco Challenge is an educational program and contest that inspires and empowers young people to learn about the environment and take action to improve it.
