For sale is a one owner, garage kept, immaculate 1987 Toyota Cressida. The Cressida is the Luxury car that inspired the Lexus series. And 1987 is the finest year both aesthetically and mechanically for the Cressida. Owned by an elderly couple, it has never been in an accident and has never been smoked in. The tires are new and the Timing belt was changed less than 20k miles ago. All of the maintenance receipts come with the car including every oil change. And it has been meticulously maintained. The Cressida is eligible for antique car insurance (which is less than $200 per year) because it is over 25 years old. The car is not perfect but very very close. It is 100% original and has never been modified in any way.
This is a no reserve auction for a fine used car. The title is clear. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to test drive the car or hire a local mechanic to do so. There is a $500, non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. The balance, in cash, has to be paid before the car is released. Shipping is also the responsibility of the buyer; I'll help in any way I can. All sales are final. One more thing: I forgot to take a picture of the front seats but I assure you the interior is as nice (great) as the exterior.
One more thing again: People seemed to be worried about paying in cash....If you send a check instead of cash the check must clear before the car is released.
And the last thing: I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country if the buyer would want to fly in to pick it up. I can pick you up at the airport as well.

Toyota Supra ready for its retrospective video closeup
Mon, 20 May 2013Our friends at XCAR have taken the time to train their lenses on the iconic Toyota Supra. With Toyota finally back into the performance car game, it seems only logical to remember one of the brand's most legendary sports cars. While we're all busy ladling praise onto the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ twins, it's important to remember that Toyota used to produce all manner of fun-to-drive machinery. The Supra once sat at the top of that list, its most recent iteration giving buyers the option of a ludicrous forced-induction inline six, gorgeous styling and plenty of presence.
Of course, the legend didn't stop once the Supra fell off American order sheets in 1998. Always an aftermarket darling, the Supra has gone on to become a tuner favorite in nearly every corner of grassroots motorsport. From drag racing to road racing and everywhere in between, the Supra is remains a force to be reckoned with nearly 15 years after it last prowled the US auto market. Award-winning Lexus Sport Yacht to get a production successor
Sat, Mar 10 2018Imagine driving along a coastal road in the evening sun, listening to Christopher Cross, Michael McDonald or some other very smooth singer usually associated with the tag "Yacht Rock". Perhaps a Lexus coupe could very well suit that soft rock mental imagery, with "Sailing" playing from its Mark Levinson audio as you cruise down the road in a laid-back fashion. But you could in fact be sailing in a Lexus-branded boat, too. Revealed a year ago, the Lexus Sport Yacht isn't just a badge-engineering job: it was created by Lexus Design, engineered by Toyota's Marine Division and built by the Wisconsin-based boat manufacturer Marquis-Larson Boat Group. The one existing example has just now been honored at the Yokohama International Boat Show, by Japan's Boat of the Year committee. As Toyota's Executive Vice President Shigeki Tomoyama accepted the award, he also announced production plans for a globally sold Lexus Yacht. "Based on our amazing experiences in engineering, building, testing and showing the Lexus Sport Yacht concept last year, we've decided to take the next bold step of producing an all-new larger yacht that builds on the advanced nature of the concept while adding more comfort and living space," Tomoyama said. "We plan to start sales in the U.S. in the latter half of 2019, with sales in Japan following in the spring of 2020." The new, 65-foot yacht will be built in partnership with Marquis-Larson, and more details of it will be revealed later. Related Video:
