About Us:  We are a bail bond company serving the Arizona Area for over seven years.  Sometimes, we are periodically required to sell collateral in an auction format to satisfy a debt.  This auction is one of those instances, there is no reserve and no buy it now.  We do not end auctions early.  Please know that due to the nature of our business we usually know very little about the history of the vehicles we list but try our best to provide as much information as possible so that you may bid accordingly. We are not mechanics, for this reason there are no warranties expressed, written or implied.  All items are sold AS IS.

That being said, please do not let that deter you from bidding, if you have any questions regarding the collateral being auctioned you can feel free to contact us any day of the week during normal business hours…we will be happy to answer any questions you have to the best of our knowledge. Additionally, you are more than welcome and even encouraged to inspect the vehicle in person, just be sure to give us a call first to make sure we are available.   Alliance Bail Bonds 480-306-5364

Toyota GT86 CS-R3 rally car presages for-sale customer racecar

Thu, 31 Jul 2014

Rallying may enjoy a very strong association with all-wheel drive, but it wasn't so long ago that the World Rally Championship was populated by cars that slipped and slid across gravel and tarmac using rear-wheel drive. One of those was the Toyota Celica. While the little Celica eventually joined the gravel-spewing masses with an all-wheel-drive rally car, Toyota is returning to its rear-drive rally roots with a modified version of the critically acclaimed GT86.
Called the CS-R3, the new model boasts all the necessary changes to turn the diminutive twin of the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ into a car capable of tackling the tough, twisting paths that are so routinely conquered by the world's rally cars. That means, of course, the CS-R3 has gotten a power bump.
Expected output sits between 240 and 250 horsepower, thanks to a new racing exhaust and manifold, as well as other changes. The ECU has been replaced with an item a bit more suited to racing, while the compression ratio has also been adjusted to boost the output.

1967 Toyota 2000GT most expensive Asian car ever sold at $1.2M

Fri, 10 May 2013

Toyota's agelessly beautiful 2000GT has been sold by RM Auctions for $1.16 million, making it the new record holder for the most expensive Asian car ever sold. As always, rarity played a big factory in driving up the price; just 351 2000GT models were built, and only 62 left-hand-drive cars (like this one). The classic Toyota, standout member of Texas car-collector Don Davies' paddock, was originally a US-delivery car that spent time in a collection back in a Japan before returning to Texas just a short time ago. The car last sold in March of 2011, for just $650,000.
Enthusiasts will recognize the 2000GT as perhaps the most heralded Japanese classic of all time. The Toyota was a contemporary of the Jaguar E-Type - though one that obviously sold in a fraction of the English car's numbers - that was well reviewed by the motoring press of the day. Sometimes referred to as Japan's first supercar, the 2000GT boasted a 150-horsepower, dual overhead cam, 2.0-liter straight-six engine; a five-speed manual transmission; and a reported top speed of over 135 miles per hour.
RM described this record-setting example as, "the finest and most authentic 2000GT to come to market in recent years," equating it with blue chip classic exotics like the Ferrari Daytona and Lamborghini Miura.
