Great 4Runner, just bought from dealer about one year ago but parents gave me the family truck. 


All the fluids are fresh and had it looked at and in good shape.

Has about 117000 miles on it.

The good:
Fluids are all current and no known mechanical issues. 
No Rust what so ever
Leather interior has held up great and has no cuts or tears
Breaks are good
Tires have about 50% tread left
Not a big hauler but pulled a two axel uhual this summer in 90ish temps. Had no issues and I got about 20 miles a gallon with the trailer.
Regular MPG is around 23 hwy


The bad:
The rear wiper as stated before.
May need an oxygen sensor replaced soon. Toyota dealer says that it is functional and working as it is suppose to but may trigger a check engine light every once in a while (every 5000 miles or so).
A small speck of white paint is on the driver seat, may be able to be removed. Unsure.
It is only rear wheel drive buttttt that does get it that better MPG.
Only small dent is under the driver side headlight. It is about 1 inch by inch. 

Require $500 within 48 dollars either paypal, certified check or cash. Then rest of payment once the vehicle is received. 
There is a lien on the vehicle, but I can pay it off at any point once the vehicle has a winning bid. 
Will have clear title in about three business days after end of auction.

Old Toyota Camry Hybrid batteries find new life in Yellowstone

Beginning this fall, used hybrid batteries that would otherwise be recycled will get a second life in Yellowstone National Park. 208 nickel-metal hydride batteries are being retired from the Toyota Camry Hybrids they once helped power and will become part of an off-the-grid energy system at Yellowstone's remote Lamar Buffalo Ranch field campus. The Lamar campus provides field seminars and other education and research in the northeastern corner of the park. The energy stored in the battery packs will come from solar panels and micro-hydro turbines. The total storage capacity of the batteries is 85 kWh, which is sufficient to provide plenty of emissions-free power to the five buildings at the field campus. Toyota says this program essentially doubles the life of the batteries that are no longer suitable for driving. It's great to see the batteries get another life cycle before recycling, especially in a place where wild animals easily outnumbers the cars. The battery project is part of a larger partnership between Toyota and Yellowstone. Toyota has previously donated a RAV4 and $50,000 to support sustainability projects at the park. In addition to the energy system being implemented at the Lamar Buffalo Ranch, Toyota has taken part in similar energy projects. Beginning last year, Toyota dealers in Japan have been using hybrid batteries for power storage. Daimler, Toyota, BMW to lead $10-billion hydrogen investment

Daimler, BMW, and Toyota are leading a group of 13 companies pledging to invest more than $10 billion during the next five years to spur enough infrastructure-building and technology advancements to get more of the general public to buy hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles. The automakers, which also include Honda and Hyundai, as well as companies such as Shell, AirLiquide, Linde Group, and Total SA, are part of what they're calling the Hydrogen Council. The group made its announcement in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday. The Hydrogen Council will pledge to accelerate its rate of hydrogen-related investments, which currently stand at about $1.5 billion annually. The coalition says its work represents a continuation of the 2015 Paris Agreement, in which many of the companies agreed to address the issue of climate change. The group says that hydrogen, which emits water vapor when used in fuel-cell vehicles, "can play an important role in the transition to a clean, low-carbon, energy system." The Hydrogen Council also vowed to push global governments to accelerate public investment in hydrogen-related infrastructure. Relative to other drivetrain technologies, hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles are in their relative infancy in terms of adoption because of the high cost of both building fuel cell vehicles and setting up a hydrogen-refueling infrastructure. Toyota is the only automaker that sells a production fuel-cell vehicle in the US. The Japanese company, which introduced its Mirai domestically in late 2015, sold 1,034 of them in the US last year. Daimler subsidiary, Mercedes-Benz, used Tuesday's announcement to remind people that it would start selling its GLC plug-in hydrogen fuel-cell crossover this year. There are only 33 publicly accessible hydrogen refueling stations in the US, including 30 in California, and one each in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and South Carolina, according to the US Department of Energy. By comparison, there are more than 15,000 electric-vehicle charging stations with almost 40,000 outlets in the US. Toyota getting into 3D printing with i-Road in Tokyo

Think of it as Pimp My Ride for the Japanese green concept car set. Toyota is further publicizing its funky, really skinny, leaning i-Road electric concept vehicle by putting on a contest that, among other things, encourages folks to customize parts of the car's surface via 3D printing. Hey, it is a really small car. Toyota's Open Road Project in Tokyo, which will last about a year and will let about 100 participants work with 10 vehicles, also includes a component that lets contestants find the most creative parking spots by seeking out "small unused spaces with access to plug sockets" (we're sure Tokyo is full of them). What grabbed us, though, was the possibility of printing out panels for a three-wheeled car that's less than eight feet long and less than three feet wide. Earlier this year, we reported that Toyota would add five i-Road vehicles to a Tokyo carsharing pilot project. Toyota's unusual promotions for the admittedly unusual concept two-seater date back to early 2013, when the Japanese automaker featured a video of four i-Roads dancing their way through a sun-kissed Mediterranean village.
