Must sell my baby. I've had this since '07. It's been wrecked. I fixed most of that, but to make it perfect, it will need some work. One roll bar was cut by fire fighters. See pictures. I rolled it over on it's side. The driver's side has some markings of that. It does NOT leak as a result. VERY LITTLE SURFACE RUST. WHEN I BOUGHT THIS, IT HAD JUST BEEN SPRAYED ALL OVER THE OUTSIDE AND UNDER WITH BLACK THICK TRUCK BED LINER TO PREVENT RUST. That's why it's not smooth. I painted it yellow, (original color white). The paint job is not that great. I was not planning on EVER selling this. The back seat was never there, no bolts or any sign of a back seat. The head lights have smiley faces, those come right off. There are cat paw prints on the bumper, from my cat. I didn't paint over it. The doors come off, of course. + CHROME WHEELS! (they do have some rust that will come off with elbow grease) NEW TOP, NO SCRATCHES RIPS OR TEARS! NEW CD PLAYER/AM FM WITH USB CHARGER AND AUX OUTPUT SPARE TIRE COVER NEW BIKINI TOP! I HAVE AN EXTRA BAR THAT HOLDS UP THE SOFT TOP. |

Suzuki Chapter 11 bankruptcy plans approved by US court
Tue, 05 Mar 2013It's pretty much a done-deal now, folks. A US bankruptcy judge has approved Suzuki's plans to wind down its operations in the States. As part of Suzuki's Chapter 11 proceedings, its automotive unit will cease to exist in the US, leaving the motorcycle, ATV and marine units to function as Suzuki Motor of America.
It's not clear how many vehicles are left on the 219 remaining Suzuki dealership lots - the company reported sales of 1,764 in February - but the automaker has assured customers that warranty service and parts will remain available. Suzuki made an investment of $45 million to ensure its past and current customers aren't completely left in repair-work limbo.
Check out the complete announcement from Suzuki below for more information, and please join us in mourning the loss of the Kizashi sedan and SX4 hatch, two vehicles we are legitimately going to miss when this whole sordid affair is done and over with.
Japan's Suzuki, SkyDrive sign deal to develop, market 'flying cars'
Tue, Mar 22 2022TOKYO — Japanese automaker Suzuki Motor Corp and 'flying car' firm SkyDrive Inc said on Tuesday they have signed a deal to team up in research, development and marketing of electric, vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. In a joint statement, the two companies said they will also work to open up new markets with an initial focus on India, where Suzuki has a roughly half share of the auto market. Suzuki announced on Sunday it plans to invest 104.4 billion rupees ($1.37 billion) in its India factory to produce electric vehicles and batteries. The companies didn't disclose details of investments in their partnership, nor outline any production timetable or target. Founded in 2018, Tokyo-headquartered SkyDrive counts big Japan businesses like trading house Itochu Corp, tech firm NEC Corp and a unit of energy company Eneos Holdings Inc among its main shareholders. In 2020 it raised 5.1 billion yen ($42 million) in total in Series B funds, according to its website. SkyDrive is currently engaged in the development of a compact, two-seating electric-powered flying car with plans for full-scale production. The statement did not say whether Suzuki would be working on this specific vehicle. The company, which is also developing cargo drones, aims to launch a 'flying car' service in Osaka in 2025 when the Japanese city hosts the World Expo. For Suzuki, the partnership will add 'flying cars' as a fourth mobility business, in addition to automobiles, motorcycles and outboard motors, the statement said. It's a hard knock life for a N"urburgring rental car
Wed, 12 Dec 2012Rental cars get no respect. They're abused, misused and flogged mercilessly as athletes in Rental Car Olympics. And that's just at your everyday airport rental counter. The torture gets extreme for rental cars thrashed around Germany's infamous Nürburgring.
Rent4Ring expects its customers to drive its cars around the 'Ring with enthusiasm and, in some cases, less skill than the pros. Rent4Ring just recently retired its Suzuki Swift Sport from its fleet and shared the car's two-year-plus lifetime highlights.
The little hatchback made more than 2,800 laps of the 'Ring over three seasons amounting to more than 310,000 miles driven by 457 different drivers. "Some were fast, some were slow. Some were nice to the car, a few were frankly awful," says a Rent4Ring rep.
