1987 Sammy with a turbo wow! This baby has a turbo and can do 80 mph with the 1.3 It has 6.1 transfer case and stock gears in axles with 33" tires this thing crawls. has a spring over front and rear and has added leafs to the front so they dont droop like every other sammy. I have the stock exhaust manifold if you would rather have a slow sammy. I just got a new cat for it and put the fuel injection on so it should pass smog with flying colors. It does not have a back seat but the two front bucket seats are in great condition.Needs the glove box door when i got it it was gone. Just never got around to getting one. Tires are about 60-70 percent tread. It has a few dents and dings and a big one on the drivers front side. doors have been modified to come off during the summer. This thing is a blast to drive dont let it get away there are very few of these left and there are almost no special editions left. this is the first time iv ever seen one. this doesnt have ac put i have the parts so you can make it have it. also it has a brand new top. Let me know if you want this for street or off road. I will pay the tags if you want it for street. Please call with more info id be happy to answer questions. 559-909-9752

American Suzuki Motors files chapter 11, will no longer sell cars in the United States
Mon, 05 Nov 2012As much as we knew it was a possibility, we have to say that Suzuki's announcement this afternoon that it is filing chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings caught us a bit off guard. American Suzuki Motor Corporation - the sole distributor of Suzuki automobiles in the United States - will realign its business to focus on motorcycles, ATVs and the marine market.
What does this mean in simple terms? In short, new Suzuki cars and trucks will no longer be sold by Suzuki in the United States once current supplies run out. Period.
Suzuki cites "low sales volumes, a limited number of models in its lineup, unfavorable foreign exchange rates, the high costs associated with growing and maintaining an automotive distribution system in the continental US and the disproportionally high and increasing costs associated with stringent state and federal regulatory requirements unique to the US market."
Suzuki previews new S-Cross compact CUV ahead of Paris debut
Fri, 10 Aug 2012Despite having one heck of a lackluster presence here in the United States, Suzuki still manages to do well in other markets. That in mind, the automaker continually releases new products and concept cars at international auto shows that aren't destined for U.S. consumption, but this might not be one of those times.
The aging SX4 crossover is in need of replacement, and if Suzuki is still committed to selling passenger cars in the States, something fresh like this S-Cross concept could be just the ticket. Suzuki has, after all, confirmed that the S-Cross will eventually make its way into production.
We have no other details to divulge about the S-Cross, except that it's a small crossover concept and that it will make its public debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. Suzuki says that the S-Cross has a "Emotion x Quality x Aerodynamics" design theme that uses "distinctive dynamic lines that start on the front bumper, sweep across the doors, and continue to the rear of the body." No offense, Suzuki, but we've heard that before.
American Suzuki gets $100M in financing to go out of business... buy more cars?
Fri, 07 Dec 2012American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC), which declared bankruptcy in early November, has been approved by the courts for up to $100 million in debtor-in-possession financing to enable it to shutter its US car business. ASMC had received a $45 million loan from the Japanese parent company, Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC), last month in order to make repayment deals with its franchise dealers. At the same time, ASMC was awaiting final court approval of this larger loan.
Out of the newly approved funds, $50 million can be used for operations, and oddly, the other $50 million can be put toward purchases of new inventory from SMC. That's right, even as existing inventory was headed for a smooth exit with the help of incentives, customer demand for orphan Suzuki models is so strong - last month's sales were up 22 percent compared to 2011 - that ASMC plans to purchase 2,500 additional cars from SMC that were built after the bankruptcy announcement. Good news for the owners of those vehicles: the top 50 dealers, representing more than 98 percent of ASMC sales, will become parts and services centers.
The press release below has more information. Unlike its recent tenure here, the end of Suzuki cars in the US looks like it's going rather well.
