**This vehicle was my Sister-In-Law's vehicle that she bought brand new in 2008. She has been the only owner(1 OWNER), and had the vehicle serviced regularly. This vehicle is still under the ORIGINAL MANUFACTURERS POWERTRAIN WARRANTY(7yr 100,000 miles). Contact me for the "In Service Date". It has a current PA Inspection & Emissions (4/14) and was just gone over and serviced by my shop. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle. Everything works as it should. There is very minimal wear on the interior and exterior... nothing that you wouldn't expect on a 5 year old car. Please refer to the pictures, or contact me regarding any questions. KBB retail for this car is about $10,000. I only traded this car in as a favor to her, and am only looking to get out of it what I put into it. My reserve is FAR below retail value. The highest bidder of this auction, over my reserve, WILL OWN this car. No games here. If there isn't anything I haven't answred, or you have any request and/or questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. My name is Derek. 717-859-1984 Thank you.

All I ask if something extraordinary comes up, that you communicate with me, and we may be able to make exceptions. If no deposit is made within 48 hours after the close of auction, we will immediately re-list this vehicle, and you will be banned form further bidding. We will accept paypal for the deposit ONLY. Four seniors to drive around world in pair of Suzuki Jimny SUVs for charity
Fri, 29 Mar 2013Plenty of us here at Autoblog have designs for epic drives. Whether it's bouncing around the country in an old International or heading from Alaska to Chile on a bike, we like to think we have big aspirations. Or at least we did until we heard about these four gentlemen. You see, Leslie George Carvall, Alan Butler, Glyn Maher and Charles Scott are all in their 70's, and they plan to pile into a pair of Suzuki Jimny SUVs and drive around the world. Sort of makes a hike across country seem like a trip down the block to the local corner store. They're calling it "The Ultimate Challenge," and they plan to undertake the journey for two reasons.
First, they want to prove that age shouldn't stand in the way of people doing what they want to do. Second, the group hopes to raise funds for the 'Heaven Can Wait I'm Busy' group, which aims to direct money toward worthy charities both in the UK and around the world. Save the Children and Oakhaven Hospice are the two currently designated charities.
The trip gets started in just three days, and you can head over to the effort's site to track their progress. The route should cover some 16,500 road miles and 10,375 sea miles. You can also catch up with the project on Facebook.
Volkswagen drops "GTi" lawsuit against Suzuki
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Way back in 2004, Volkswagen took umbrage with Suzuki being granted permission to use the nameplate "SWIFT GTi" for a performance variant of its small-car offering (2012 equivalent seen here). Now, eight years and surely some very steep legal bills later, VW has finally dropped its claim against Suzuki.
The General Court of the European Union stated, back in March of this year, that Suzuki's GTi registration could not be confused with VW's "Golf GTI." Volkswagen had appealed that ruling, though has now reportedly called off the dogs. In fact, Germany's Die Welt reports that the appeal has been dead for several weeks now.
This news comes amongst continued arbitration acrimony between the two automakers, all revolving around VW's forced divestiture of nearly 20-percent stake it purchased in Suzuki some two years ago.
Suzuki Kizashi recalled due to pesky spiders
Wed, 27 Aug 2014Spiders seem to love the fuel tanks of Japanese sedans. Mazda had to recall its Mazda6 twice for arachnid webs blocking their car's vent lines. Now, the Suzuki Kizashi is also being called in because spiders can block the car's evaporative canister vent hose, a condition which could cause excessive negative pressure in the tank, eventually leading to a crack and fuel leak. The campaign covers about 19,249 examples of the 2010-2013 model year Kizashi built from October 2009 through July 2012.
According to the automaker's defect notice released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the first report of a spiderweb blocking a vent line was in 2011. It began monitoring field data and found six more incidents from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, there was one more case, and with further investigation, Suzuki decided to initiate a recall. There are no reports of accidents or injuries of the webs causing accidents or injuries in the US.
In a similar move to Mazda, Suzuki is replacing the evaporative canister vent line with one that has a filter in place to keep the spiders out. Also, if the lines are obstructed by webs in a specific vehicle, the fuel tank will also get swapped. Scroll down to read the full recall announcement from NHTSA.
