This is a rare Special Edition Samurai. It was purchased in North Carolina and has remained in the south as a solid southern vehicle. It has the Special Edition Stripping on the body and matching seats to match.
The engine runs very well and it drove from North Carolina to Virginia with no problems. It has optional headers.
There is no rear seat. The carpet is in good condition. The driver's seat has some tears as shown in the photos. There is a nifty console made between the seats that is very securely mounted. There was an option available on Samurais for a box under the dash where you could lock a valuable such as a firearm. That hard to find box is there, though I do not have the key.
The radio is an aftermarket radio cassette player with an additional speaker behind the console. It works well.
The A/C is not working and am unsure what it needs. It is equipped though. The cruise control did not appear to work on first try, but we have not checked fuses. That's a common and simple fix in a lot of cases.
There are optional headlight guards as well as a tow connection on the front.
Tires are like new. I do have a spare tire cover that goes with it.
This is a great little vehicle that was purchased for my dad, but he never drove it. I wouldn't hesitate taking it anywhere. The engine runs well. It's had a fresh oil change. It shifts well and shifts the transfer case seems to shift well.
A deposit of $500 is expected within 24 hours and balance is expected within 7 days. Pick up should be within 14 days unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Trick motorcycle rider breaks world record for fastest wheelie
Tue, Sep 29 2015The world record for the fastest wheelie ever was broken last week in a British racing event by certifiably crazy man Gary Rothwell. It goes without saying, but we'll say it anyway: don't try this at home, kids. On September 20, in at an airstrip in York, England, Rothwell rode his 540-horsepower turbocharged Suzuki Hayabusa 209.8 miles per hour over while balancing entirely on his rear wheel. Rothwell beat the previous world record by a whopping 10 miles an hour, according to Gizmag. Rothwell was going overboard to ensure he cinched the title. He was still miffed over his failure to break the record last month. He only reached 197.8 miles per hour in that attempt, just shy of it. Rothwell also holds world records for being the fastest man on skis, which involved him jumping off the back of his bike and being pulled along at 150 miles per hour on titanium skis. He completed the wheelie at the last Straightliners Top Speed event of the year. Straightliners is known for hosting the fastest of anything. This year featured everything from a shed that traveled over 88 miles per hour to a jet-powered shopping cart. They also welcome trick riders of all flavors to come and share their expertise. Japanese motorcycles moving into forced induction
Sat, 30 Nov 2013While turbocharging and supercharging may be nothing new in the automotive industry, motorcycle engines are almost always naturally aspirated. But even that's beginning to change. At the Tokyo Motor Show last week, two major Japanese companies showed off new forced-induction motorbike engines.
Kawasaki rolled in with a supercharged four-cylinder motorbike engine. It offered little in the way of details, disclosing only that the turbine blades were developed in-house to withstand the heat and vibration of spooling up at motorbike speeds.
Suzuki is taking a different approach, however. Its Recursion concept bike packs a turbocharged 588cc two-cylinder engine with a turbocharger and intercooler. The compact package churns out just under 100 horsepower and 74 pound-feet of torque, packaged into a motorbike that weighs just 384 pounds dry.
Suzuki Jimny Black Bison is real, looks ready to stomp on other off-roaders
Wed, Feb 13 2019The internet darling Suzuki Jimny strikes again, except this time it's considerably less cute in the Wald Black Bison getup. We drove the little SUV late last year and found it to be good, rollicking fun, but this modified version looks like the little ute's foil. Mechanically, the Jimny Black Bison is similar to the normal Jimny. This means it has a 1.5-liter four-cylinder that makes all of 99 horsepower and 95 pound-feet of torque. Yep, that probably wouldn't fly in the U.S. The G-Wagen appearance absolutely would, though. A lift and side-exit exhaust appear to be the most obvious modifications we can see from the photos. The exhaust looks like a page straight out of AMG's playbook for the G-Wagen. Wald has added more than a few extra body parts to make this off-roader look unique. It starts with the aggressive tire and wheel setup, which in turn requires the huge fenders. This gives the Jimny its super aggressive stance you see here. A new front and rear bumper, plus grille, ensure it doesn't look disjointed as a whole. If you like lights, you have plenty of them to choose from here. Additional LEDs are mounted in the lower bumper area, and a couple banks of roof lights are equipped to light the trail ahead. The hood has two massive nostrils that surely aren't necessary for the little engine underneath, but we recognize the commitment to the theme. Finally, there's a roof spoiler that extends higher than any roof spoiler needs to from a car with a top speed of 90 mph. We imagine all the extra bits lower the top speed even further on the Black Bison. No word yet on availability of the Suzuki Jimny Black Bison edition. This vehicle was revealed at the Osaka Auto Messe by Wald, so it's not an official Suzuki vehicle by any means. It would be neat to see the full conversion kit offered to Suzuki owners, but individual sale of the parts is the most likely scenario. Related video: This content is hosted by a third party.
