2008 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited Sedan 4-door 2.5l on 2040-cars
Sanbornton, New Hampshire, United States
|
I originally purchased this vehicle new in February, 2008 from Belknap Subaru in a Laconia, NH. It has been serviced there except for the year and a half that it was with us in Florida where it was serviced by Dyer Subaru of Vero Beach. I have all the service receipts. Always garaged, paint is in excellent condition with no scratches, dings or dents except for the lower part of the front bumper that close up shows some minor pitting from road grit. Never in an accident or fender bender of any kind this has been an outstanding vehicle for our family. Runs great and has terrific gas mileage, especially for an AWD vehicle.
Vehicle is located in New Hampshire. It will be the buyers responsibility for the cost and arrangement for shipping. I will assist and am willing to drive the vehicle up to 100 miles or so from my home in Sanbornton, NH (Exit 20 on I93) to meet you. Buyer must provide a $500 payment through Paypal within 48 hours from auction close with a bank check for the remaining balance within one week or at time of delivery. At that time I will provide the new owner with a Bill of Sale and the original title. |

Drive looks at a pair of STI-ified Subaru Impreza RS Coupes
Tue, 15 Oct 2013Among tuners, the legions of Subaru fans are hard to top, displaying all the fanaticism of English soccer fans and a dedication to their vehicles that borders on obsessive. These are compliments, by the way. In the latest video from Drive, Matt Farah takes a look at a pair of very special Imprezas - early Impreza 2.5RS Coupes that have had some serious heart transplants.
The first, a traditional blue model, sports the 2.5-liter, turbocharged flat-four from the 2004 WRX STI, which is good for around 300 horsepower. The other Impreza is a bit more hardcore - the engine is a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder from the JDM WRX STI, which we suppose makes it more of an Impreza 2.0RS Coupe. Besides the different engines, both cars represent the unique ideas and style of their owners.
The 10-minute video explores this, digging into why people tune, and how it's a reflection of their own personal driving style and character. Take a look below for another fun vid from the team at Drive.
The List #0178: Attend Rally School
Tue, Apr 7 2015Jessi and Patrick attend Team O'Neil Rally School in Dalton, NH, to learn how to shred in the snow. Veteran instructor and school founder Tim O'Neil demonstrates left-foot braking, slalom techniques, turning, proper ways to blip the throttle and more in this episode. They get behind the wheel of modern Ford Fiestas with front-wheel drive and a vintage Audi Quattro with all-wheel drive. They catch on quickly, and O'Neil tells Patrick: "Tell your grandchildren you are a rally driver." Watch as our hosts check "attend rally school" off their list. Have an RSS feed? 2015 Subaru Legacy, Outback crash their way to IIHS Top Safety Pick+ ratings [w/video]
Wed, 20 Aug 2014The Subaru Legacy and Outback are the latest vehicles to be awarded the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's most prestigious safety title, Top Safety Pick+.
As we've explained many times before, this only applies vehicles that can score an "Acceptable" or "Good" rating on the five IIHS crash tests and earn at least a "Basic" rating for crash prevention systems.
In the Legacy's case, it totally aced IIHS's testing, earning "Good" scores on the small overlap, front moderate overlap, side impact, roof crush and rear impact tests, while also bringing home the top "Superior" rating for its optional EyeSight system.
