CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED* with a 12/12 WARRANTY included at this price! Get the OPTIONS you'll love. And with the PROTECTION you deserve; a Certified Pre-Owned comprehensive** limited WARRANTY for 12 month or 12,000 miles, included at this price! RARE, RARE, RARE!!! You know how rare a BAJA is, now consider how rare a TURBO w LEATHER is, and then add in how rare a 10 year old car with only 72, 500 miles is! According to Cars.com, there are only 10 Turbo BAJAs with under 100k available for sale in the whole US of A! And I dare say that very few will be in the fantastic condition this car is in. Certainly NONE have the 12/12 CPO Warranty that you will get in the purchase price of this car. And personally, I think the single tone SILVER metallic paint combined with the sharp two-tone Grey interior is by far the best color combo as well (and there is only one other like that).
But rarity alone does not mean that this is the right car or the right price. You have to decide that for yourself, but you MUST SEE (or examine the pictures very carefully) it to make that decision. I've rarely (there's that word again) seen such perfect paint on a 5 year old car, must less a 10 year old one. So you know its been well kept and never wrecked. To qualify for the CPO Warranty, it had to pass a rigorous 125 point safety and reliability inspection and it did so with flying colors, needing little more than the mandatory fluid and filter changes. The engine is exceptionally smooth and free of any leaks. The turbo spools up quickly and propels the car with surprising efficiency, netting 24MPG along the way! There are no fluid leaks anywhere and the transmission and differentials work flawlessly (and, of course, among other items, they are covered by the warranty, as is the turbo and all seals and gaskets). The Dunlop tires are 80% up and the brakes are even newer! Like I said; a RARE car in RARE condition. If you are an out-of town purchaser, we strongly encourage and will cooperate fully with getting you a Pre-Sale Inspection at a local independent garage of your choosing or at the franchise dealership. We will also extend our 3 day return policy to you, though you will be responsible for return shipping. If you require further photo or video documentation to make your decision, let us know and we will oblige, including an undercarriage examination on our shop's lift. But if you have been shopping BAJAs you know that the right car, especially a super LOW MILES full spec car with a NATIONAL WARRANTY, will move very quickly, so..why wait? Please plan a visit to our neighborhood-oriented dealership conveniently located at 245 S Main St (Hwy 9) in Downtown Alpharetta just 1 block South of Old Milton (Hwy 120). We promise straight talk in language you’ll understand and the simple courtesy of no silly games. Please give us a call at 770-667-5280 and ask for Mike or Jay. Hope to see you soon! -Inspected by Qualified Technical Personnel and Certified for Safety and Drivability. -12 month/12,000 mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty included at this price with 2 and 3 year extensions available. -3 day/ 150 mile 'No Questions Asked' Return Policy (a small restocking fee applies). -90 Days SAME AS CASH for qualified buyers. -Finance Options available including Simplified Buy-Here, Pay-Here plans. -FREE oil changes for the life of in-house loans. -7 years service to North Fulton and ATL metro; operated by local residents. *The Nat’l. 2013 Subaru Legacy and Outback recalled over potential steering loss
Wed, 15 May 2013Subaru today announced a recall that affects 5,379 Legacy sedan and Outback wagon models in the United States. All of the affected 2013 model-year vehicles were built between February 15 and June 15 of 2012.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, "the inner and outer shafts of the steering column assembly may become disengaged from one another" in these vehicles. If that happens, the driver can lose the ability to steer the vehicle, which could obviously lead to all sorts of harmful things.
Subaru will notify owners of the problem, and affected models will have their steering columns replaced at dealerships, free of charge. Scroll down for the official NHSTA report.
Subaru teasing new WRX S4 model ahead of Japanese debut
Fri, 25 Jul 2014The Subaru WRX range is growing just a little bit larger, at least in Japan, with the automaker's teasing announcement of a new version called the S4. Unfortunately, the company is keeping details about its latest all-wheel drive sport sedan a closely guarded secret for the moment.
From what we can glean, it appears that the S4 might be a more luxurious take on the WRX. According to the release, the name stands for the four qualities that Subaru wants the sedan to have: "'Sports performance', 'Safety performance', 'Smart driving' and 'Sophisticated feel.'" As part of this focus, the car comes with the company's EyeSight camera system. Thankfully, we don't have too long to wait to find out what all of the buzz words actually mean because Subaru is unveiling the S4 on August 25 in Japan.
The automaker also launched a teaser website for the S4 that you can cheek out, here, but at the moment it doesn't provide any more details about the new sport sedan. The site just has countdown until the August reveal. There's also no indication yet whether this potentially more premium WRX could make it US shores. Scroll down to read the Subaru's rather concise teaser for the upcoming S4.
2018 Subaru WRX STI Type RA Drivers' Notes Review | Fun for the few
Mon, Sep 17 2018The 2018 Subaru WRX STI Type RA is a limited-edition version of the Japanese automaker's iconic rally-derived sports coupe. Only 500 units are headed to America, and, with a price tag just shy of $50,000, every single one is likely to be scooped up by true Subaru enthusiasts. The RA moniker stands for record attempt. The STI lapped the Nurburgring in fewer than seven minutes. The Type RA differs from the regular model in a few ways, most notably the lightweight and adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing. The car also uses carbon fiber on the roof to lower the center-of-gravity. Other changes include a 5-horsepower bump, 19-inch BBS wheels, Bilstein dampers and a few changes to interior and exterior trim. It doesn't transform so much as refine an already hot product. Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore: Rock-solid chassis. Hair-trigger clutch. Tight chassis. Heavy steering. Black coffee. No need for solid foods. This was my lunch on a gray Thursday as I whipped up and down Woodward Avenue in the Subaru WRX STI Type RA. It's a riot. This thing sounds like a hooligan and most of the time behaves like one, too. I spent a lot of time in second and third gears with the revs around 5,000, just because. Need to slow things down? The brakes are spot-on, with quick bite and little pedal travel. The seats are supportive and nicely bolstered. It's a little harsh at lower speeds — something I noticed as I cruised through the verdant Cranbrook campus in metro Detroit. So yeah, I like the STI. This one, done up in RA trim, is a limited-edition model with a carbon wing and roof. It's lighter and has five more horsepower. If you love the STI and the RA (for Record Attempt) has meaning to you, sure, try to get one of these unicorns. Only 500 will be made and they are not cheap — ours is 50 grand. Otherwise, just buy a regular STI. Or if it were me, a WRX. Still, I can see the allure of this rare Subaru. Parting shot: this car also reminds me how much fun sedans are. Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder: The Subaru STI is a riot to drive, and as a recently reformed WRX owner, it feels familiar every time I get in it. Such is the case with the Type RA, which I also had the pleasure of driving at the track at Thermal Club in California. It the real world, it's still fun. But overall, I'd not spend the extra money for the Type RA.
