Don't let the miles fool you. This one owner 2004 Subaru Ourback Wagon is just getting started and is ready for Winter driving conditions. It runs and drives 100%, is all wheel drive and is being sold with no reserve. The 2.5L four cylinder engine purrs along without a miss or fluid leak. No "check engine" lights. No tapping, no rapping. No over heat. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts perfectly with plenty of clutch. The brakes, steering and suspension all seem normal. No exhaust leaks. The exterior is in very good condition, especially considering the miles. No dents or dings. No body work or repaint. No body rust. You might find a scratch if you look hard enough. The lights and lenses are bright with no cracks. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 25% tread (see pic). The windshield has 3 stone chips. The interior is also clean. There are no wear areas on the cloth seats or carpets. The dash is wood grain. There is a factory sound system with CD but the volumn is not very strong. All the power options such as windows, cruise control, locks, etc. work as designed except the front heated seats and the side mirror switch doesn't work. Fuse? The heat is hot and the AC is cold. This is a very comfortable ride. Dispite the miles, we could not find any mechanical drive train problems with this vehicle and there was no indications of any impending issues. The new owner should be able to drive it home, with confidence, no matter where they live. This quality one owner Subaru is being sold by a Maryland Used Car Dealer. We require, on ALL internet sales, a $200 internet auction fee which covers document, clerical, airport transportation, IT support, internet provider and all other internet auction expenses. This is a NE RESERVE auction which means that the high bidder, at auction end, must purchase the vehicle. Only bid if you intend to buy and you understand the payment procedure. Please don't insult our intelligence, and yours, with some lame excuse why you can't buy when you win. ALL non-paying bidders will be reported to Ebay. IF THE DEPOSIT IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN 24 HOURS THROUGH PAYPAL AS REQUIRED WE WILL AUTOMATICALLY RELIST AND REPORT AN UNPAID BIDDER. We try to describe all vehicles accurately. Thanks. SINCE THIS VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE A CURRENT MARYLAND INSPECTION MARYLAND MVA REGULATIONS STATE THAT IT CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED BY A NON-MARYLAND RESIDENT. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDED.

Subaru updates EyeSight system with color-detecting cameras
Sun, 26 Jan 2014Subaru is giving its EyeSight driver assistance camera system a major upgrade for the 2015 model year with new color cameras, as well as reducing its size by 15 percent over the rather bulky original system.
Subaru locates its EyeSight hardware inside the vehicle at the top of the windshield, which is unlike most other camera-based systems that have their hardware mounted somewhere in the front fascia. The benefit is that these rather expensive components are protected from any detritus that may hit the car, but the original system's size ate up a chunk of the driver's outward view. Thus, the shrinkage should be appreciated by new owners.
The upgraded stereo cameras have a 40-percent longer and wider detection range than the original system's cameras, and their ability to see color allows the system to recognize brake lights at a speed differential of 30 miles per hour, instead of 19 mph before. And as before, EyeSight continues to offer adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and pre-collision breaking that can slow the car automatically if an imminent accident is detected, even bringing the vehicle to a complete stop.
