Welcome to Mullans Collision! Although naturally we dont like to see anyone get into an accident, we are glad that youve chosen us to help you! Weve been a fixture in the ever-changing downtown community of Tacoma for more than 70 years, and we service over 100 vehicles a month. Mullans Collision is one of only two unionized collision-repair shops remaining in Pierce County, WA. Our employees are all I-CAR certified, and many also have ASE certifications. The longevity of employees at Mullans is very high. We have long supported Bates Technical College and Clover Park Technical College here in Tacoma. We belong to the Automotive Service Association, and are active in community affairs.

Our grandfather started the family business in 1939. Now in the third generation, we run a successful business with close ties to the community. Our staff have taught trade classes at technical colleges, and we employ new graduates. The entire family is involved in the business, and our hope is that we can pass it down once again to a fourth generation Garys teenage daughter Shannel.
We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality work at a very competitive price, and we have the most modern, state-of-the-art equipment. Our shop has been a symbol of consistency in downtown Tacoma, and our phone number has not changed for over sixty years.
Our History
In 1930, the firm known today as Mullans Collision was called Guaranty Radiator and Fender. In 1939 Mitch Mullan Sr. rented building at 2201 Pacific Ave. and named it Mullans Body & Fender Works.
Mitch Mullan Jr started sweeping floors at company in 1939, then left for military duty. When he returned in 1953, he started working full-time, then bought building in 1985 and changed name to Mullans Collision. Today, although semi-retired in 2000, he still helps his two sons, Gary and Bob, to run business.
