Pearson, who grew up on a ranch near Richfield, Utah after serving in the Air Force as a chaplain during the Korean War. He began his business career in Richfield with a new car dealership. He soon began selling tires as well as cars and opened his first tire store in Richfield in 1950. He expanded to Salt Lake City a decade later and now has additional retail stores in Provo, Ephraim, Beaver and St. George as well and wholesale warehouses in Salt Lake City, Richfield, Ephraim, Provo, and St. George.
