Car Inspections

I have had multiple problems with this place when it comes to car inspections. Today I went in for an inspection and was told that my car failed because the plastic piece on my seat belt had broken off. My seat belt works fine, it latches, it`s secure and there are no rips or holes in it. So, I took it somewhere else and my car passed. When I got home I called a Chevrolet dealership and asked them about it. They... view more said as long as my seat belt is secure, latches and there are no rips in it, it should have passed state inspection. I`m convinced that this guy that told me this from Texaco Xpress Lube doesn`t know what he is talking about and was probably too lazy to do the work. I will not go here again.
