put my 93 mitsu truck there for alignment cuz it has new tie rods. THe owner called me saying the pitman arm and idler arm need to be replaced before alignment, and they cost $399(labor&parts). I went there, he told me if I bring my own parts, he install it, the labor cost is $170... After I got home, I found 1, After my inspection, they seem to be fine. No need to be replaced (well..im not 100% sure..bu... view moret they do look fine) 2, Even if they do need to be replaced. Basically it is about loosening 5 nuts and th en tightening 5 nuts. Problely you will need a prybar or a puller which can be borrowed from AUTOZONE.... It`s about a 30min job.... I have a master degree in engineering, and I know what I am talking about.
