Know what their doing

I had a fluid leak from the transmission, small but still a leak. I took it to one transmission place on southport road and they said it was the front seal gone bad. So after 2 days and $500, they claimed it was fixed. Well 2 days after getting it back, the leak reappeared. I decided to take it to Jack Smith`s to get a second opinion. After a day of looking at it, they discovered that it was the pump that was bad... view more and raising the pressure and damaging the seal, had already damaged the new one that was put in by the other place. Unfortunately, i had to hav ethe whole transmission rebuilt, but Jack Smith`s had it finished quickly and had me back on the road and running just fine. These guys have great knowledge of what theyre doing, they are ATRA certified (only place in Spartanburg), and handle things quick and professionally. Not only did they get the truck fixed quickly, but they want me to bring it back after a couple of weeks just to do a follow up inspection and make sure everything is still running the way it should. I definitely recommend jack smiths transmission if you ever have a transmission problem!
