this place offered a life time warranty on there auto starter but when you try to have any warranty work done they try to get out of it the women behind the counter is very very rude. If your looking for good service look elsewhere not here

I got a remote car starter ins...

I got a remote car starter installed here in early 2009. I started having problems with it a few months later (randomly shutting off, cranking the engine, etc. right after I?ˆ™d start the car using the remote) I called and asked them to look at it and they told me there was nothing they could do, because it was still working ?ˆ?most of the time?ˆ?. The guy on the phone was rude and acted as if it wasn?ˆ™t worth his time. So ... view moreI muddled thru. About a year ago my key fob stopped working. I ordered a new one which they told me would need programmed. After I received it, I called to ask them when I could stop by for them to program it. They told me they wouldn?ˆ™t do it because the instructions were in the user?ˆ™s manual, again, they were very rude about it. I couldn?ˆ™t figure it out, after 2 hours. But I found the spare key fob I had received with the initial installation. In December 2011, the remote starter quit working all together. I asked them to service it, and they told me there was nothing they could do. We called the manufacturer who told me Audio Phonics could service it because it has a lifetime warranty. On January 3, my boyfriend stopped in and spoke to the owner. She was very unsympathetic about the remote starter not working, didn?ˆ™t offer an apology or reconciliation, made excuses for the bad customer service, and told us the earliest we could get in would be February 3?ˆ¦ a FULL month later AND she?ˆ™s going to charge us for it, despite the bad customer service, them lying and saying they couldn?ˆ™t service it, and the product still being covered by the warranty. Supposedly this is because they?ˆ™re booked until then, and we were told they?ˆ™d call us if there are any cancellations. However, I drive past frequently, and their parking lot is never close to full. I doubt they?ˆ™re busy, it just seems like they don?ˆ™t want bothered with customers. I?ˆ™m currently looking for another location that services this brand of car starter. I really don?ˆ™t want to deal with these people ever again. If they do end up fixing my car starter (like if I can?ˆ™t find another retailer before February 3) I will NEVER do business with them again. EVER. The only reason they`re getting 1 star, is because zero isn`t an option.
