I sold my car to Carmax and had a no hassle experience. Took 30 minutes for them to inspect and test drive car. They offered me more than what I was expecting and was significantly more than what my car dealership wanted to offer. I had a check the same day. Great experience!

Over Priced!

We were looking for a Ford Ranger 4x4 V6 2000-2004 in OKC. They wanted 10,900.00 for a 94. Uh negative- thats 200.00 on Craigslist including a Carfax. Dont go here.

I had a good experience buying...

I had a good experience buying my car at car max, and selling my old one. I bought the warranty, and tried to use it for the first time recently. The communication from the service department was awful. I had to repeatedly keep calling back to find out the status of the warranty repairs, the front desk girls that answered never knew anything, they repeatedly promised a call back from someone who did know, but those c... view morealls never happened. I finally refused to be called back and said I would rather wait on a response, and was put on hold for more than 10 minutes before being disconnected &quot;accidentally&quot;.

Cars are good, service department stinks

We have purchased two cars from Carmax in the last two years - a PT Cruiser and a 330ci. We are very happy with both cars and with the sales process. However, if you ever take your car by for repairs, don`t plan on seeing it for a while. I took my 330ci in for a simple repair. They sent it to the BMW dealership across the highway and seem to have forgotten about it. Every time I call for an update, I am told that the... view morey will find out what the status is and then call back. So far, they don`t call back. What should have been a three hour repair is now in it`s tenth day. I think that`s excessive. I WANT MY CAR BACK.
