Just plain bad customer service

I was told my car would be finished in under 2 hours when I dropped it off. I walked over the mall and shopped for over 4 and then tried to call to check on car. No one (living) ever picked up the phone so after 15 minutes of listening to recordings telling me to ""please hold"" I gave up and hiked over to check on my car in person. I was told it still wasn`t ready so after waiting a little longer I walked next door... view more to the BP filling station to buy a Coke and wait. There I learned why my car was still not finished being serviced and no one was available to pick up the phone. 4 Pep Boys employees (including all 3 of the mechanics I saw when I drove my car in) were settled in there comfortably, snacking, chatting and flirting with the salesclerk. Needless to say I won`t be going back.

Excellent experience

I`ve been going to Pep Boys for 2 years with both family cars, very pleased with the way they care for my vehicles and the prices. Jason was especially friendly and very helpful on my last visit, and took extra time to explain what was going on with my service. Highly recommended!
