Horrible Auto Repair

Prior going to Iraq, I made a year contract with the owner of Golden Rod Auto for a complete restoration of my truck from the frame up. The truck was to be completed in quarterly phases and the underbody work was the first phase with guarantees of pictures to be sent to me in Iraq upon completion of each phase. No Pictures were ever sent I entrusted the owner and prepaid for the 1st phase service. All I got was a $90... view more0.00 rear shock absorber on a rusty frame; none of the contracted work was completed within the year period. Here are other items that the untrustworthy shop performed. 1) My license plates were stolen at the Golden Rod shop doing the time period and replaced with someone else tags. A Police report was filed for the stolen 2) My keys were lost and replaced with a rigged set of keys 3) During the year of entrustment of my truck, someone in the owners shop used the truck for joy riding, which left personal effects in the truck. 4) The brakes of my truck were inoperable doing my reclaim of my truck. In closing, I do not recommend this auto service to any customers.
