I brought my vehicle in because the check engine light came on and the car was stalling. The engine computer code said Camshaft Sensor or Timing belt. They said it was the sensor that needed to be replaced. I was told the work was completed on 2/1/2011. Within a day the car was having the same problem as before. I took it back to find out they were waiting on a part for the sensor and that they had just tied it on i... view moren the mean time. After being called and told the car was fixed I took it home and the same problem happened again but now I couldn`t get the vehicle started. So they came to my house which is a few blocks away and got it started to take it in. The next day I called and they said it was now the timing belt. I told them I had just replaced it a year ago and they said it chewed up. I picked the car up again on 3/1/2011. Within a day the same problem happened again. I checked under the hood to find out they never got the part for the Camshaft Sensor and they had just soldered and taped it on. I called them many more times trying to get this worked out but just get the run around being told they are still waiting for the part. It seems to me that I didn`t even need a new timing belt. I have the one they took off which is in perfect condition and I was told by another mechanic that there was no need to replace it. And to top it off they charged me for towing service that never occurred. I was told they would refund the tow but have received nothing now a month later.
