I bought a car here, despite caution from friends, and it ended up being the worst choice. I have had nothing but problems with my car since I took it off the lot. Literally within ten minutes of purchase my engine light came on and on the way back (five minutes later) I started having problems with my breaks and when I tried to park the parking break wouldn`t work and the car proceeded to roll backwards down the hil... view morel. After he "fixed" that, my proportioning valve went and I had to pay to get that fixed and a break line went. He covers up rust with spray paint and other cosmetic tools. Look at your muffler and breaking drums they are most likely painted and the rust will start to show within less than a month. The owner also gives misleading information he told me that my air conditioning worked (in the winter) so I believed him so when summer came around I tried to use it and it didn`t work. I`m still tying up loose ends and my engine light is on and has been on all but a month of ownership, but I cannot do anything about it since I am a college student paying loans and other living expenses and the car is no longer under the Lemon Law. Your best be is not to shop here and let your friends now, if you do decide to I urge you to use great caution and advice from a mechanic you trust!
