Mechanics dishonest

I had an Audi A8 in for a routine timing belt change last September. Was charged about $2000 for the service. 2500 miles later the timing belt broke. Took it back to them and they charged me $200 to tell me it would cost $4000 to fix the damage to the engine. They would not take responsibility for the damage claiming it was not their fault. I took the car to Universal Imports just up the street and they photographed ... view moreevery piece and did a complete fault analysis and determined that the crankshaft pulley bolt came loose because it was not tightened to specification. I presented the findings of the analysis to the Owner and have not heard from him. This place is as dishonest as they get. DO NOT GO HERE!
